Nothing extra needs to be enabled. Check you aren't using any other edited files and remember to select Andorra as this is where the league is based.

What else do I need to have enabled for this to work? It worked on an old PC but I have just installed FM16 on my new PC and subscribed and I cannot see it in custom leagues in either the original or Winter update.

when you subscribe it is automatically downloaded

it doesn't appear in your list of custom databases when you start a new game? maybe try downloading it from steamdownload and adding it to the folder?

After resubbing and many restarts i cant use the mod, so I cant pick it at the start of a new game. Are there any reasons for it, or am i just to dumb?

Hi afilmforthefuture, I love the mod but like many others I am not the biggest fan of the foreigner limit, so can I ask your permission to publish a verison of the mod without this limit in place as it seems like many people do not know how to remove it themselves

I've answered this so many times over however many years I've been making these. Look through the chat history.

For me, the game is unplayable unless I add a foreigner limit. Otherwise every team looks like the same random mix of German, Brazilian, etc. players. I play this for the long game. You can't add league rules part-way through a game but clubs adapt to the limits. So I won't be changing it but please feel free to delete it yourself before starting a new game.

This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous dude. I'm playing as Man United and the fact I can't have any more than seven foreign players in the squad puts me at a massive disadvantage. Why did you think this rule was a good idea?

did you change pool e to include york and not newport (in both teams and teams for next season)? do you have any other edited files enabled that might change clubs?

Yeah, that's what I set it to. Dont understand what's wrong with it. I'll just play as Newport or something.

what is all the same? i dont have fm16 installed anymore but i assume you have put york in pool e? you'd have to set york's nation to andorra (and, if you want english regens, set their based nation to england)

How do I swap a team. For example swapping York with Newport. I did it, but it tells me a team in Pool E has the wrong nation set, but from what i can tell they're all the same

do not convert to advanced rules. it will almost certainly break stuff. and there's no need to do that to make changes since i made this in normal rules.

to change the prize money, just look under each division's rules in the nation rules. there is tv prize money, prize money for win/lose/draw and for each finishing place

Awesome stuff! But - how would I do it if I'd like to change some stuff with the database, more precisely the prize money for each division? I have the same issue as yoga_killer when I want to convert to advanced rules.

you don't have to convert to advanced rules. just go to the match rules for each division (under the nation rules) and delete the rule that says max number of foreign players in squad

Hi there, I have tried to remove the maximum foreign players rule. But to do so, you have to convert to advanved rules. When I do this and remove the rules, it can't verify the first round of "Vanaram conference south". If I remove this tournament, it just continues to Romania league 1

@redrover: my idea for this is for it to be large - i like having hundreds of teams competing and don't mind waiting. it would take too long to create a separate smaller version. sorry. from what i hear, fm17 is a bit quicker so it might be better this year.

Would you consider including less teams for better performance? I know you have the option to select only certain divisions, but even if you only select the top 4 or so divisions, the database size ends up circa 50,000 players with a small DB, and the transfer window/season updates can take 5 - 15 minutes!

that's how it should be. you only need to load andorra, that's where the world league is set.

Doesn't work for me. Half the countries are unavailable to start in.
