Will this work with the Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim mod? I'm pretty sure it won't but I wont be able to test it this week.

I made a modification to the mod so that it also works for the "Tower of Strength" perk.

Besides that it is the same. I literally installed and learned the creation kit just to do this.
Rogmar 1. apr. 2015 kl. 7:01
The patched perks work fine, but for someone reason when installed it lowered the base armor rating of every piece of armor. Strange.
Osujin 17. mar. 2015 kl. 5:55
Doesn't seem to be working for Nightingale armor at the moment.
Sara Z  [ophavsmand] 28. jan. 2015 kl. 16:39
I'm not sure, but I don't think so. I haven't touched which armor sets are supported by Matching Set, only reduced the number of required armor pieces.
[R] Nerva 28. jan. 2015 kl. 14:44
So far so good. I've been able to go bareheaded, or wear things like clothing hats, hoods, circlets, or the helmets of other armor sets without an issue.

Just a question though - the Vampire light armor set (Dawnguard) doesn't actually have any associated headgear. Will that still benefit from Matching Set perks with this mod, or does it lack support for those perks entirely?
Sara Z  [ophavsmand] 28. jan. 2015 kl. 0:36
Thanks, I hope it works for you. :)
[R] Nerva 27. jan. 2015 kl. 7:36
This is exactly what I've been looking for - a mod that simply adjusts the perks to not require a helmet, without doing janky things like adding invisible helmets or forcing helmets to become invisible.

I don't mind taking a hit in armor to go helmetless. What I do mind is when over half my perks stop working simply because I want to show my face. Gonna subscribe to this now - if it works out well (no crashing or other unresolvable issues), you'll get a rate up and a recommendation to everyone I know.
SeeShark 21. jan. 2015 kl. 19:06
Thanks!
Sara Z  [ophavsmand] 21. jan. 2015 kl. 4:36
@Foehack I think that's one of the several styles of hide armor you can typically find on bandits.
SeeShark 20. jan. 2015 kl. 13:06
What armor is the character in the screenshot wearing?
Maddog80 28. juni 2014 kl. 4:43
Looks like a good mod. Does this affect the Ancient Knowledge status you get from completing the Deepest Fathoms (think that's the name) quest where you take the lexicon to Avanchnzel? I.E., will I get the 25% dwarven bonus with only 3 pieces of dwarven armor?
i exist maybe 17. maj 2014 kl. 9:10
For some reason it does not work for me, and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling many times and it still didn't work :P
Grant 4. dec. 2013 kl. 6:21
It did and thanks a ton; it lets me not look like a tin can and more like a nord :)
Sara Z  [ophavsmand] 4. dec. 2013 kl. 3:47
@Grant I haven't used that mod yet, but if the armor has proper flags set up (and I'm sure it does), then this should work with it just fine.
Grant 2. dec. 2013 kl. 13:47
Does this work with the warchief armour?
Sara Z  [ophavsmand] 15. aug. 2013 kl. 11:19
@Grauhr Yes, it does. The only exception being some of the armor sets not working with the Matching Set perks. This was a bug/oversight in the original game and this mod does not fix it.
Grauhr 15. aug. 2013 kl. 8:07
Does this work for the armor sets in Dragonborn DLC? Great mod!
Just Dyl 23. juli 2013 kl. 3:36
Thank you so much! I wanted to make a character that wears a hood and light armor, but then realised that if I did, the perks wouldn't affect me. This is a lifesaver.
:3
spartanspud 28. juni 2013 kl. 10:33
I don't know how to do this sort of thing but would a hide helm toggleable like in DA:2 work?
Xogo 22. apr. 2013 kl. 13:29
YES, this mod is perfect. I've been looking for a mod that does this with no glich reports for ages.
S1yx 2. apr. 2013 kl. 7:48
that was super helpful thanks i have been meaning to try modding and you just sent me in the right direction much appreciated.
Sara Z  [ophavsmand] 29. mar. 2013 kl. 5:20
In order to add vampire armor to Matching Set, I believe I would have to make the mod dependent on the Dawnguard DLC. Perhaps I'll try to make a separate version for the expansions, but I'm not sure when I will get on that.

You can also try to make the changes yourself, you just need the Creation Kit, load the mod up in it along with Skyrim.esm and Dawnguard.esm, go to Perks > MatchingSet, double-click it, and add another line into the list of conditions there identical to the others, but using the proper keyword for vampire armor.
S1yx 28. mar. 2013 kl. 0:05
maybe make a helm with no match set like the dragon preist masks into the match for vampire armor.
S1yx 27. mar. 2013 kl. 22:32
well this is your mod maybe you could help me out and make the vampire armor a set. if at all possible i would realy appreciate it.
S1yx 27. mar. 2013 kl. 22:28
damn well that stinks thanks for the help im still keeping this mod for other characters tho two thumbs up
Sara Z  [ophavsmand] 26. mar. 2013 kl. 1:51
By UESP I meant the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages, but I've just checked it and found no information there about the sets not affected from the Matching Set perks. But since the vampire armor set has no helmet in the original game, I would think that it is missing from the list and therefore Matching Set will not work with it, unfortunately.
S1yx 25. mar. 2013 kl. 20:19
im not sure what UESP is how do i check this. i could just do it the hard way and wait until this character takes the perk and find out. or are you telling me this is just somthing bethesda didnt do for vampire armor? thanks for the help.
Sara Z  [ophavsmand] 24. mar. 2013 kl. 2:35
@s1yx: Yes, that is correct. Some sets, however, are not included in the Matching Set perks, and this mod does not fix that. See its UESP entry for details.
S1yx 23. mar. 2013 kl. 12:51
for example vampire gauntlest boots and armor with a elven helmet?
S1yx 23. mar. 2013 kl. 12:50
so if i wear 3 of the same set and 1 of another set would i still get the matching set perk?
An Hero 20. mar. 2013 kl. 10:00
I would imagine it'd be pretty similar to what you did. Just go into the perks and adjust them. Since you don't use SkyRe I don't blame you for not really worrying about compatibility. Thank you for your reply though!
Sara Z  [ophavsmand] 20. mar. 2013 kl. 2:25
@Rivenworlder: I don't play with SkyRe, so I'm not sure, but after quickly skimming through the description of that mod I don't think the two mods are compatible, because they both make changes to a lot of light armor perks. I don't know enough about the specifics of SkyRe to make a compatibility mod for it, but I'll certainly leave that option open to anyone who's up for that task. They can even look at my mod for reference and see what I've changed, it was not at all difficult and took me about an hour to figure out and make the changes. Also, I'll be glad to answer any questions that I can.
An Hero 19. mar. 2013 kl. 9:24
Is it SkyRe compatible? Would you consider making a SkyRe compatible version if it isn't?

mc3w3n 15. mar. 2013 kl. 5:21
Great mod

monkey9 17. feb. 2013 kl. 5:41
Used it since forever: Perfect.
Sillysauce 2. feb. 2013 kl. 16:39
Awesome thanks :D
Sara Z  [ophavsmand] 2. feb. 2013 kl. 0:31
@Sillysauce Yes. It modifies the perks, not the armors, so it should work as long as the armors have the proper keywords set up in the Construction Set. (To indicate whether they are heavy armor or light armor.)
Sillysauce 1. feb. 2013 kl. 16:02
This mod work with armor from addons?
Yanis Gazoil 22. jan. 2013 kl. 8:03
Yeah.. thanks very much
Killu4real 26. dec. 2012 kl. 23:48

Click "subscribe." The next time you start the Skyrim launcher through Steam, Steam is supposed to download all the mods you're subscribed to.
Larhendiel 20. nov. 2012 kl. 13:18
How do you actually download and install these mods from steam?
Sara Z  [ophavsmand] 22. okt. 2012 kl. 14:07
Thanks for the clarification, Kyle. I don't think this mod does anything with that hidden armor bonus, then. As long as you wear all 4 pieces it should still apply.
Jay Zeld 22. okt. 2012 kl. 11:54
As far as I know, the hidden armor bonus Mgo is talking about is only on certain armors. I believe the Ancient Shrouded Armor from the DB questline is one of them, but I can't say which others have it, or of there are any others at all.
Sara Z  [ophavsmand] 21. okt. 2012 kl. 7:46
@Mgo: I wasn't aware of that. Is that a new rule added in a recent patch? I have been testing this mod pretty heavily as I was making it, writing down and summing armor ratings, and I didn't notice a bonus to armor rating when wearing all 4 pieces (other than the ones from perks).
Mgo 21. okt. 2012 kl. 3:41
does this mod modify the hidden armor bonus? incase you dont know, wearing all 4 pieces of any armor gives a hidden +100 bonus to armor rating.
