I'm looking for a mod on the workshop that overhuals attacks entirely. Every class and enemy can return fire with their primary weapons; simply activated by shooting at each other, each doing a 5 round burst. You fire on an enemy, they fire back, and vice versa.

AFAIK, if a unit has the vanilla game's Return Fire ability then this affects them

Worst case scenario: They lock up or they both shoot at each other at the same time.

For those wondering: Yes, it is deffinetely LW2 compatible. It's saved the lives of several of my soldiers on multiple occassions as well.

What happens if they also have return fire?

This change may actually make Return Fire worth taking over Long Watch. Hmmm.

Well, return fire isn't really shoot first, because you're not returning anything if they're already dead ;p
