yeah, it does look better than the white overlay icons. in my opinion at least.

Should I put it as a minor update to replace the ugly-looking white-overlay weapons
What do you mean? You mean either a L4D1-Betaish HUD mod for BB2? If so, then I need a reference to it.
Plus this HUD is my main focus and I have little to no freetime to make more mods due to school.
*Revised
I'm not experienced to make such "advanced" HUDs for L4D2, plus it's default hud looks shite.
I still wish we had that 2014 HUD tho.
@Press F to Hold the Fuck Up Hah I used it both to make skins for IL2 Shturmovik like .... many many years ago. And later get a photoshop ( yep, I used few different versions, and programm still grow up ) and never back to both of this crap. Just pirate PS, like all people do.
Its because I have a huge hatred for CSGO-based skins that look either poorly made or just flat out looking like a nerf gun. Also there is a difference between MS Paint and Paint.NET fyi. Sure, not everyone is a lazy ass but everytime I see a CSGO-based skin that looked so bad, I can't help but to facepalm myself.
Also sorry if I "pissed" you off and I didn't know somebody made a HUD before this. But a link would be appreciated about that HUD you did.
I might change the description.
Sorry, I uploaded the first addon for HUD BEFORE this game was REALISED. And also translated game on russian language at first. So don't tell me a stories about everybody is a lazy ass.
1. I may be either blind or I just can't see it, a high definition screenshot would be nice as all of this was just 1366x768 crap.
2. Yea my mistake, I rushed them just to test and release the HUD.
3. I'm not actually that good at drop-shadowing and I don't have photoshop (used all of this with Paint.net) , it didn't turned out great as I meant to be. The colored weapons look out of place and very rough for me. Same goes for the ammo pickups, the worst offender is the Revolver ammo pickup.
4. And no, I never touched the chatbox. Seeing how I test all of this all by myself (hence the levels kept on going back to 1 - 10.
Although thanks for the feedback, yea I have plans to have help but I might go back to this if I have the time (I planned it to be more than just a HUD addon)
I mostly just make mods, edit textures and the like. I still consider my "work" harder than what all the CSGO Fanboys do, but the one who made the textures did it all, so appreciate him/her/them instead of the CSGO Fanboys or even me.
(And when I say "appreciate him/her/them" I mean it in general)
And really people, stop saying something is "hard". It's only hard when you want it to be hard, but anybody else can say that you editing a texture is easy as all freaking hell. In conclusion, the "difficulty of making a skin" is subjective.
Truly, whenever someone asks me to relate them, I do it. And when I do it, I just start to think, why the heck am I wasting my time making a very crappy easy-to-make Diffuse Map where all it does is change it to a skin that is not even unique ? CSGO-styled skins are not unique, not at all, and they're soooooooooooo easy to make.
If you can't fix transparency, then I will. If you can't make those white overlays better, then I can. No issue on that, right?
I don't do much with HUDs, but I sure would love to learn, as fancy-ass HUDs is one of my favourite stuffs, hence one of the reasons I love Hard Reset.
2. There is actually a visible "white line" around the coloured armour icons.
3. The fact that weapons became white overlays is great. Still a bit inconsistent at how some got a drop-shadow (like the Remington) while others don't (like the FAMAS and AK). Besides, there's virtually no detail.
Now this I'm unsure. Did you actually move the default location of the chatbox to be more up than before? Don't like that addition myself.
It might as well just be default for all I care.
Of course, it has its flaws, and while I understand that it's not final, all products should get a review as long as it's not some irrelevant garbage, which sadly many do that. ("proper reviews" is a dying species)
I will make a list, so expect many comments here because Steam loves to limit them.
amazing hud mate!
From what I see in your workshop, it literally doesn't look like you spent months into making those type of CSGO-inspired skins.
Also this is literally my first submission into this workshop and done a custom HUD nobody ever did than uploading 900 CSGO-inspired skins.
