@ΛŁIƎN thanks for pointing this out, I just released an update that fixed the bone parrenting on the coat. there are now new controls called bip_coat_control that will help you pose it. as a result existing animations may break the coat, if the body is messed up select utilities>reattach to model, you will sadly have to copy the animation data over to the new rig though to fix the coat issues (sorry everyone!)

I was thinking about taking the original Engineer's guitar, splitting the strings via mesh loop cuts, rigging them, right doubling them, then just give it the illusion of 3D. :P Im not sure if it could work for something like this guitar, but who knows.

@Velikhi Maikeru yeah, strings are just with the rest of the mesh. would take a lot of manual rigging to split them up and work right. and yeah didnt think of using VRD. might toy around with it for an update.

Just to make sure, the guitar strings aren't separate? As in they are one sheet of mesh. And by original rigging, you didn't add a VRD to animate the helper bones?
