as of august 2025 this mod is not working. tried it with game version 1.6.0. no other mod enabled, game crashed before intro cinematics start

For some reason this mod gives me a crash up at the start, for instance I recently played steel faith with the Campaigns of the Old World add-on with 0 problems.

Thats totally understandable. I think the one thing that I liked about our mod was how you could use in inconjuction with others a lot easier. Well good luck with the degree!

I'm finishing my degree currently, which has naturally consumed a lot of my time. I do beleive that Steel Faith Overhaul is a brilliant mod that embodies a lot of the same goals I have, which is way i helped them build their mod for WH 2. However, I am not adverse to the diea of making this style fo mod for Warhammer 2 over the summer, I would probably just want to wait until the DLC cycle settles a bit after may!

Any chance we are going to be seeing a warhammer 2 version of this mod?

talking of that ill tried SF with this one once again.....ill dont get familiar with SF, sorry. Cahos Invasion, Cryos unlocker and Mogars mod, together with some comsetics and Better Ai was the rocker of all time before the last patch for me, and will be:)

@DaniiL I already replied to you on the SFO version of this mod. I haven't changed LL traits or stats in that mod, and this one is out of date.

@DaniiL, cant be triggered from this Mod, its actual not functioning, and crashing the game if selected.

Are the legendary lord stats in the discussion page up to date with Grimgor having -15% upkeep instead of -10%? I'm using the Steel Faith submod which only has -10% and the Steel Faith crew said they hadn't changed a thing.

He did say he was hit by setbacks but was working on it ;) Your far from the only one hoping every game mod update is this one ^^

does it make sense to wait Mogar or did you quit and go for it to Warhammer II? both is ok, you did give me hours of fun in this game, nothing more to ask for, just wanna know if it makes sense to watch the workshop for your update daily:)

It seems there's a new incompatibility (of the crash on startup kind) since the Norsca update that wasn't here in my build, but i fail to pinpoint the culprit.

I tried to play a campaign without the mod, but i simple cant, this only shows how bad polite Total War Warhammer is, this mod is crucial and i waiting every day for the update

This mod used to work great for me, but now it causes my game to crash after the Norsca patch. I tried disabling all other mods except this one, and it still crashes my game at the loading screen. I tried unsubbing and resubbing but nothing has worked. Do you have any advice? I love your mod and would love to continue playing with it! :)

I appreciate the positive response. The reason this update is taking so long is I am not just patching Norsca, I'm redoing everything. Firstly I want the files better organized so I don't have to replace as many game data files, which often affects compatibility. Secondly, there are
A few systems I'd like to revisit with the new skill set I have developed, and better flush out said systems. Lastly, I'm trying to go through and check over that everything in the mod works as it should, and is implemented fully and in a fashion jam happy with. This will most likely be one of the last updates to this mod, as I look to pivot the idea for this mod into WH2 for the cortex campaign and the combined campaign. Thanks for your guys support through thick and thin, I couldn't ask for a better community of followers and players.
