can you link me the said addon/s where someone rerigged and made playermodels out of them (including the L4D1 Survivors too)?

I think we're back. Steam had an issue where any links in the description (even when it was kept to Steam's workshop) was causing addons to be locked by the auto-moderation tool. I trimmed all links and that seemed to finally shake things loose, I'm readding the links since it's over but if they're not present you'll know why.

@XoNIX: Seems to be stuck in auto-verification limbo over the update. I can't do anything about it right now so hopefully it sorts itself out soon

Where's L4D1 survs? Addon marked as "hidden"

@Gonzbt/Betel.Arg: Looks like Gmod enabled jigglebones on ragdolls in the latest update. These really need an overhaul and I've been planning one for later in the year, but I'll get an emergency update out to disable those jigglebones for now.

Hopefully I can find what's wrong with them and properly fix them later on, it's a cool feature to have after all this time.

Rochelle and Zoey's hair is moving around like crazy after the game update, can this be fixed in a model update?

@Gremlin: That shouldn't be possible. These models don't replace anything regarding the original L4D2 models so I can only guess that you have another addon doing something with the original models.

im having problems with the textures staying clean even after i unsubscribed from the addons. is there a fix?

One thing I don't like about this addon, it has no physics for clavicles and neck when using the ragdoll mover. I mean I just want to detail posing.

@MissingTexture: The escaped prisoner idea didn't last into the final game, and even when Valve still had it in mind his suit had a cleaner texture in early gameplay footage implying it was stolen instead of something he'd been wearing from the start.

It's besides the point anyway. The idea behind these was to give clean textures for the survivors if others wanted to use them in poses and movies that didn't involve a zombie apocalypse. I thought that calling them the Day One survivors was a bit more catchy than simply calling them clean survivors while still getting the point across but it's clear now that not everyone saw it that way. Maybe the name wasn't the best idea in retrospect but it's a bit late to change it now.

It doesn't really make sense for Nick to have a "clean, pre-infection" suit, since he broke out of jail during the it's beginning, and only THEN stole the suit from a store, which would probably already be covered in some dirt and blood from the infection.

@AbNormalCoolNess because of instinct. people tend to put in the title of the addon EVERYTHING that is crucial to let people know what they're getting. usually, addon creators put things such as; [NPC/PM/RAGDOLL], anything like that lets the potential future subscriber let himself/herself know wheter or not they want to download said add-on.

the reason people aren't reading the description is because the title should indicate what the add-on has in it, and shouldn't rely on the description, for it is describing details about the addon that can't be put in the title.

Hey dude, I make Reddit Gmod post's for r/l4d2, and you literally safed my time on posing these ragdoll's. Thank you for making them, I was literally having a lot of hard time posing the original one's that come with the game, also if you read this, there is a problem with nicks right hand and arm, I hope you fix it. Still, pretty fantastic work of your's.
