Also Sandvich dispenser has the right idea.
One day im gonna try to balance the character out, one day
Sorry
For anyone interested i just downloaded the extended character template and opened every image used by spriter in the character animation, the ears and pigtails, as well as the tail and skirt were replaced by a file of the same dimensions and all of that, but completely empty. There's a tutorial on what to do next, so go find it on youtube.
for now it works, i just need to finish the back sprites of the torso, then all of the lower torso as well as legs and arms and it's done, then the tricky part will be to implant all of this to this mod, so it's finally done
make sure the file format is the same
make sure that the names of the files are the same
make sure the pixel width and height (the size) is the proper size
Other than that I dont know.
Apparently it may not be compatible now, but the main forum for modding should have the updates: https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/forum/79-dont-starve-together-mods-and-tools/
to get the steam dont starve together mod tools go to library>tools>dont starve mod tools
If you dont understand what manipulate in the code, there are probably minor tutorials. I simply downloaded other peoples characters, saw what they did, and copied it for the most complicated things.
you will want note++ to open code files and edit with, which is free.
you will need to know how to do minor coding in Lua which is similar to java and c++. Here is a comunity made tutorial: http://dontstarveapi.com/lua/
Best of luck. Its a learning process.
Also GIMP 2 is what I used for the textures, which is free. You can use what you want so long as you convert it into the right format and it has proper transparency.
FLOAT AND STARE!!!
