@TEM187 Thanks for your interest. At this time, I have no plans to bring this over to Ascended, unless I were to get the game for free.

In order to develop this mod, I not only have to have the entire game installed, but also any mods I want compatibility with, as well as the full dev kit through Unreal, which takes up even more space than the game itself. I don't have a 500+GB drive to spare at the moment.

So, unfortunately (and I really mean unfortunately, because I deeply love the core idea and gameplay of ARK) I can't commit to bringing this mod to Ascended. I'll probably put it on ARK 2 if I can.

Number display only changes when you add things / or remove things.

Maybe it's just me, but is anyone else having issues increasing the slot count of the storage boxes by using ini? I've tried toying with it multiple times but can't get the slot count on the storage boxes to increase at all. Anyone got any thoughts?

I tried this with Automated Ark to expand the ocd storage options... doesn't work. The containers are all craftable, but no ocd sorting.

Amazing, it's working again ! i made some tests, with just the mod with event on and with it off, and worked on both. Looked in last patch notes and, as u said, the last patch is with something related with the bug we experienced here:
Current Client Version: v304.32 - 12/26/19

Fixed a client side crash related to rendering 3D text (would occur when placing signs, etc) .

A lot too much to post here. But I checked the last update list of the mods. And the only updates are from ARK itself all other November or earlier. But I did disabled the Holiday-Event, maybe there is a collission with it. (-ActiveEvent=None).

Strange, i made a test on sp with just this mod and still crashed. Can u tell us what mods u used ?
I'll make a new test soon, and i'll post the results here.

I got it working again by moving the mod to the beginning of the list and now it no longer crashes on placement. I guess some other mod got updated and somehow collides with a texture.

Sadly, i think this mod is officially dead now. R.I.P.

Yes actually. For a some days now. Existing storages are okay, but when I want to place new ones I get a crash. At a while I though maybe it's a mod I added to the list, but so far no success and when more people have the issues maybe it's patch related.

I'm crashing everytime i try to place a box. Anyone is having the same issue ?

I also like this mod for a long time now. It's one of the best storage solutions. The only thing I hate is the metal texture. I really would like an alternative texture version something looking brand new not 1000 years old. Maybe brushed metal which is not reflective or shiny could be nice. And what about a 3rd tier Tek?

There is another minor issue. When you load and changed the capacity via ini the number is not immediatly seen while hovering over the object you need to open the inventory of the stackstorage first. Functional there is no problem, it's just a visual think and 90/45 makes me nervous. Maybe the adjust method could be applied in some kind of "OnMapLoading" event or so.

Been a favorite mod of mine for years, always enabled on my dedicated.

I really like your ideas of this type of boxes, and without "weight limit", that's cool :)
I use S+ mod pack, but for the storage of resource, i really prefer your own (not only for the label), it's "fun" on the view in the base, and more "original" that a basic a big ugly wooden wardrobe.. :)

were the sourcefiles for this ever posted to github? I'd be willing to take a crack at incorporating this into my own mod, or producing a standalone followup to this

As this is dead..is there a similar mod? Couldn`t find a mod with good looking storage boxes that snap to foundations or walls.

The metal boxes, are they metal quality (as in only titanosaur can damage them)?

Well that sucks cuz it looks like the latest update screwed it up. Its not loading my settings and going to defaults.

@Everyone I'm sorry to report that I am no longer going to support this mod. I no longer play Ark, and cannot justify the time expenditures on this project. I will be posting the source files on GitHub at a later date for anyone who is interested in utilizing my work for their own mods or for continuing the support of this mod. Garyp156 is a great modeller for anyone who wants to use his skills.

@smaurine82 Yes, updates are expected soon. The ADK seems to be working now, so I am able to resume testing of the new items and features.

Just as an update to everyone, due to issues with crashes in the current version of the Dev Kit, today's update has to be pushed back. I have a lot of updates in, but until the ADK stabilizes, I can't upload. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

This is the best storage mod if you're building with adobe, also can you make the metal storage dyeable with the spray painter, it'd be really good for my base which consists primarily of orange and green metal.

@echo Maybe I'm being stupid, but why snap to foundations instead of a simple snap to another box? I know they snap UPWARD to other boxes but snapping next to each other for large storage rooms would be very nice. I'm really torn because functionally I like the S+ boxes but I LOVE that your boxes have visible labels. OCD at it's finest lol
