So, from what I can see: a single dude rocked up and solo'ed Gatecrasher...
And i have around 810 mods - works fine
Gatecrasher - Reaper , Loot , Promotions , 10 man squad
Thank you for cutting out some of my Legendary Ironman No Death run's tedium whenever I have to restart.
In campaigns I keep I always disable it after gatecrasher as a precaution. Use 'Remove Missing Mods WOTC' to remove the warning on your save file.
I get all the regular loot and corpses, however none of my rookies are promoted like they normally would be, making the early game a bit harder.
The game also sometimes crashes for me when starting a new campaign, but most of the time it doesn't crash.
Playing Long War 2. Is this the problem?
But that is a small price to pay for not need to see GC again.
Vanilla game mod manager sucks. Its confusing everyone.
The lack of xp gain on the skipped mission for your start team can be easily remedied by using the (WOTC) Starting Soldiers mod and setting your start team to begin as Squaddies with your choice of class for each soldier.
Pure virtual function being called while application was running (GIsRunning == 1).
