Also you should get plus 1 tourism once flight has been researched
I have some suggestions: Schönbrunn palace, Belèm Tower, the Atomium, the Golden Gate bridge, Borobudur, the Astronomical clock (Prague), the Sagrada Familia... ;)
Hope you will add more.
With a lighthouse and Grand Canal each coastal tile becomes 8-yield tiles (2 food, 2 production, 4 gold). Most land tiles become 4-yield tiles, 5 with river, and resource tiles eventually become a minimum of 6-yield, while typically hitting 7-8 yield with ease. In a sense, this wonder turns coastal tiles into resource tiles. <Continued in next post>
Another caveat is that ideal locations tend to be lacking in production prior to Grand Canal, making it difficult to construct, while locations with more accessible production will not see the same benefits usually. <Continued in next post>
For balance I think cutting the gold bonus to +2 per coastal tile would be enough. Its primary benefits are turning mediocre/bad coastal city sites into respectable sources of production and yielding you a bunch of gold, and all this takes set-up + proper circumstances.
A unique, situational, high skill/high reward wonder. Very good sir :)
I look forward to your next wonder mods and will post balance feedback as I continue playing with your mods.
