honestly this is one of the coolest ships ive found, crazy how you pieced that cockpit together! such a cool bp. hope its ok if i modified it for personal use (ofc i would never publish without consent nor would i attempt to claim it as my own). mad props, u got some skills dude---all my ships are flying boxes, with a ton of functionality, but this thing is a work of art----amazing!

You guys are more than welcome to modify as you need. All of these blueprints are very old and kept up so that players are able to modify to suit. Thanks for liking it =)

This ship is my favorite thing in this game. My friends and I use them constantly.

@Aneastin: the best way to do that is in creative mode and you have to open it (removing blocks) to find how it is done and why not modify it like I did for my MkIII branch ;)

@Valkyrie: do what I (mostly) do ... take a nice existing design on the wokshop, edit it in creative mode (as said before) and adapt it to your personal preferences ;)

As I said to @Vexray on my MkIIIa branch this ship is still a good and very appreciated one :)

I just finished my MkIIIe version (that I do not really intend to publish, except if there is a large request to do that) but to adapt the A 20 to the v 6.0 you just have to find a place where to put an oxygen ventilator (for me it is behind the pilot seat) ... piece of cake ;)

Alot of these are all way outdated so im afraid i cant be of much help atm..Ive not played since novemeber. Depending on how things go oin the next week or so i may or may not be back... Well see...

@Vexray so I love this ships design, but how does one replace a destroyed ammo box? Would I have to chip away at the hull until o found it and then replace the hull? Also I am having issues finding the O2 station.

(it is ok even sometimes it flirts with the power in orange in certain manoevres ... maybe a little work to deal with that but not catastrophic)

I will spawn it on a survival server (HWS to name it) and see what I can do with it but I have great hopes :) (BTW: on this same server we already have an A-18 for routine missions)

The open cockpit really kills the view in first person sadly. Too many pieces and the edges block out a lot of view. With the inaccuracy of third person, this ship just doesnt compair to the orginal for comfort during a fight.

@Nitrogen: you have to use the P-menu... just press "P" and select the fuel tank.
This design has significant upsides since the fuel tanks are behind sturdy reinforced metal blocks.

I dont know where to fill energy to use it?

Didn't think the original could possibly be improved on! Love the old ship, love the new one even more. By FAR the best SV in the Workshop! Great Job. (BTW, I have four of these things..I just keep building them!)

99% of them are hardened steel, there are a few of the older ones (Jackal and Spectre) that are not hardened steel

It's a sweet ship. I downloaded it and then flew it then dissected it then rebuilt it block by block to learn better building techniques. I learned a lot from it, and really admire the time and craftsmanship that went in to this awesome ship. I changed some of the locations of equipment and weapons to suite my play style on my in game model. Thanks for designing such a great ship!

Celtic check the A-20 Widow , this is the MK2 model, the orrgiinal model has a closed cockpit =)

Open cockpit is more durable yes, but having deployed a ship from a blueprint and having its cockpit half destroyed I'd rather have the option of having a spare cockpit in my cargo bin than having to rebuild an open canopy piece by piece. Just practical food for thought... Thanks for a great design though I will be trying it out and I suppose I can always replace the cockpit with a standard model..

ah thanks alot guys, and yes, simply tapping the power on/off (Y by default) will close shutter doors =)

Also, Great ship Vexray, really liking your entire design library, though I've yet to test out more than a few. Definately my go-to guy for a new ship design to fill a gap.

Not sure if it works for shutters,but i've found that pulsing the power of and on will shut 'manual doors' on small vessels, so the same may be true for shutters.

This may be a weird question, but it is possible to close the shutter after entering the cockpit, or do you have to fly with your head exposed?

Rails have larger ammo stacks, so more per container. They also have better projectile speed, so you'll hit targets better than with pulse lasers.

have you downloaded alot of blueprints? Theres a limit of somewhere around 90 that can be seen from workshop , you may try removing some blueprints to see others apear

do i have to be pvp to see this bluprint? for some reason both of your ships dont show up

Rails are much more prefured among the masses for PVP, from what ive seen myself they just have a generally better combat performance =)

I can understand the rockets, as rails don't have AOE, but why rails as opposed to pulse lasers? The lasers do the same damage and have a faster rate of fire... That being said, it's a nice flying ship. You do need to disassemble to repair it sometimes though.

we been building most of the capitol ships with dbl walls to everything out side and small interior rooms and do walk ways down most inside stuff so can get at fixing the interior a little better dbl walss is for makin g it stronger most the time doesnt penetrate ship in most npc battle circumstances

Embedded into the ship, Unfortunatly untill htey provide us with an alternate form of repair (like aoe repair) most ships become difficult to fix internal damage

Love it - perfect size, so compact for having two passenger seats, and great fire power and handling. My favorite ship by far.
