does this still work?

Welp I've just realized that Ursa Miner now charges only 0.2 of the item's original price... which makes one copper bar only worth 4 pixel. Seems like the dev changed this to encourage more use of refinery.

Well now to refine to death's doorstop.

Without this mod, I would have ignored the refinery entirely. Thank you for making and uploading this one. The refinery actually became useful. : )

There is a mod here what eliminates crafting times, im pretty sure it could work with the refinery too.

This mod is awesome! I noticed that the x2 output equals the exact value of the thing you put in, so a 40 pixel value iron bar can be refined into 40 pixels! :D Now all I need is a mod that makes this thing refine things faster, so I don't have to wait forever to refine my thousands of silver bars.

Yes. This should always work unless they change the refinery or the names of ingots/ore.

Does this work with 1.1?

I suppose I should add a notice to only install one version as using both will just use one anyway.

The Ursa miner is strange in that I really dont think they intended it to be an actual source of ore/bars and more of a last resort to finish a recipe.

Yeah, my first instinct was to ask whether I could install this mod and your 1.5 mod to get a total of 3. Seems crazy for the refinery to turn a copper bar into 50 pixels when Ursa charges you 300 for the same bar.

I remember discovering the Refinery online (like most things in this game, I did not discover it through gameplay), and immediately noping out without ever building one when I saw the return rate.

I refuse to clear out an entire asteroid field just to get enough tungsten to make enough light metal blocks to build a background in my base. The refinery is not a source of pixels, it's a source of disappointment.

@Elevas Sunchild, I would agree. To me it seems like the refinery can be mostly forgotten in the game instead of being a legitimate source of pixels. Hope this mod helps fix that.

Lookin' good. Would make refineries closer to actually worthwhile. At the moment, their payout is such a miniscule fraction of Ursa prices.
