the gun system in this mod is still something that lives rent free in my head from time to time, that shit was the shit

I'm aware of that but the most important bit to me (the custom weapons, the torps and guns) have not

before commenting on it being out of date, or what verion to use. most of the mod has been added to vanilla. the mod creator is now part of the dev team.

This presumably still works in older versions if you roll back your FTD install, correct? Does anyone know what the last version it worked in would be?

A mod so awesome that its creator was poached recruited by the game devs and most of its contents added to vanilla. What little from this mod hasn't been implemented into the base game yet, can either be done manually through mimics/deco blocks (e.g. block wireless receiver), or have been more-or-less recreated in other mods (e.g. the mantlets)

While it's a shame this mod will probably never be updated, it's still an important piece of FTD history, and probably one of the best mods of all time (if not THE best) for this game.

ok, to fair extent why is it in recently updated and such? this just showed up when i went to download mods in 2022. why is it here? cool and all, but yes, very out of date. rather than doing that to show appreciation (which is what im guessing this is) they should have put it on the front of the community page.

why is this still on the workshop??? its so ungodly outdated and still shows up on the front page constantly, literally nobody can use this anymore, please remove it.

adding custom torps? arent torpedos customizable via rocket launchers that launch rockets with a propeller instead of an engine?

Just to let you know this mod still works for me and everything is A OK.

This mod is dead as the creator works for FTD now and most of the things are in the decor/misc areas railings / doors / simple guns and such. Main thing it lacks ins the slops that are longer than 4 blocks & wing gun/weap controls, but since all the new simple weapons are from the maker can't blame them on holding out on somethings (since some caused errors.

time to restart my whole campaign

some of the things in this mod, such as reinforced decking, are now in the stock game.

The mod overwrites my Gauge increase has been replaced with the cannon mounts and won't let me delete the mod. Is there a fix to this?

honestly id be fine if the mod still had all the deck guns n stuff working currently, was one of my favorite parts of the mod, that and the possibility of treads.

Yes, some of it already has. The new hatches, ladders, bulkhead doors, steam propeller system, and oh so much more were added to the game after Rhea was recruited onto the development team. I really hope the weapons that were in the mod get added into vanilla, too.

Also, don't harass the guy who made the new update please. He's probably found some spare time to fix some small problems and won't add your ideas.

If you look on the discord server and search for "after cataclysm" you'll find someone made a patched version of the mod. You don't need to keep asking him to update the mod, he's an FTD dev, so he's more busy than that.

Hey its awsome that you got recruited to the dev team, always loved this mod and its great to see stuff from it being added to the main game.

Please add the custom ammo boxes into the game. I love the look of them, and they make ammo storages on realistic ships look so much better.
