It sure would be nice if this was updated for 1.0.

It's not likely that RimWorld would get updated past 1.0, anyway. So it shouldn't require further updating.

this could replace the endless resuply runs using drop pods to my mining facilities. But the functionality isnt there yet?

been thinking how i could posably use this, and it might work to feed the wild animals, i did see them eat food or corpses, so i wonder if they would eat the food shot out with this, that would save a few lives, i have been attacked due to being food

I love this mod as it is, on paper, simply ridiculous. However, the practical applications are actually endless. Many a time I've had huge bases which need some kind of pneumatic pipe system to transport items, and at the lack of that I have to send people across my compound to grab some crap to make some other crap. Being able to just lob the crap from point A to point B works a charm. I think the screen shots show the more ridiculous side of this mod, but it has some real potential if you have a large sprawling defence network and need to mobilize weapons to the front lines ASAP.
