I don't know if this is still being updated or not, but I want to say that the problem I've been having with Treant form isn't that it won't wear off, it's that the little icon that shows up to show "turns left" (with the X to turn it off if you want) doesn't show up at ALL now and then. At those times, Treant form just seems to last a random amount of time. (And of course, cannot be manually removed.)

There seems to be a bug with Heart of the Wood, namely that the Treant form does NOT wear off. This is a huge problem, as it removes crafting stat points. Please fix this. Otherwise, I love this mod and dont' want to disable it. There might be a problem with Bear Fruit, since it doesn't seem to drop anything.

A healing yourself spell would be nice, instead of having a chance to heal yourself when being hit by a monster.

Thanks for the answer. From what other modders here have said, there is no reason to believe it is going to have any problem. And my ban lifts on August 18th. I just wish I knew what I was banned for. They may had added insult to injury by sending me a PM about it. I cannot even check those while banned. :)

I've played it with the new DLC just fine. I can't say with 100% certainty that it is completely compatible, but I have had no problems and can see no reason it wouldn't be. Nothing core has changed that affects any triggers used in my mod. I'm sorry to hear you were banned from the forums, I hope it's not permanent.

Since I am Banned from the forums without knowing why, I cannot ask there if this works with the new DLC. I am going to limit my mods to only those that confirm they work with the new version and DLC. Thanks in advance for any answers.

Actually, it's not supposed to stack. That's a current bug in the game. Abilities are stacking regardless of being tagged as non-stacking. It should be fixed... today, I imagine?
Sanmei 2012 年 7 月 30 日 下午 12:43
Aha, that's why -- the status it inflicts stacks, so after six turns, the monsters have -18 burliness. That'll definitely kill low level monsters in a hurry.

Venomous Rain seems a bit overpowered. It might only be that I'm still on the top floor, but it's rapidly becoming my bread and butter against single and multiple targets. The only monster who's managed to survive a casting of it is the Unfriendly AI -- and he only two took casts, neither of which required getting into melee range.

As a fair warning, I will be pushing Druid Magic version 1.42 to the Steam Workshop on Saturday, June 23rd. While this version SHOULD NOT BREAK SAVES, it is still possible. It is best to finish up any Druid Magic saves before Saturday.

This seems like a great skill set!! Can't wait to figure out how to impliment it and use it... xD
Skizzix  [作者] 2012 年 6 月 12 日 下午 3:37
Also as for the time from start to finish, I can't say for sure, but I'd say somewhere around 30 hours of my own time. That's not including time spent by people on the forums helping me test Druid Magic. I'm not saying it's completely balanced as it is (Nature's Wrath is probably due a slight nerf), but they helped me immensely, and I may have had to spend much more time myself playtesting the skill set if not for them.

If I'm not mistaken, there is already a Gardener set on the Gaslamp Games forums. My next skill set is actually named Nightshade Tactics, and it is currently in a testing phase. When it is ready to roll, I will surely add it to the Workshop. When Nightshade Tactics is finished and closer to balanced, perhaps I could begin work on a set that compliments the "greener" skills.

Absolutely. Thanks for contributing to the community!
Perhaps though, your next mod will be "Gardener" to round out Vegan and Fungal? I can only hope. How many hours did this process take for you?

@RoyalGrue while I thought about linking Druid Magic to skills that fit thematically such as Fungal Arts, I realized I didn't want to try and force the player in to picking skill sets they didn't want to. Part of the fun (at least for me) in DoD is combining a list of skills that make no damn sense whatsoever and seeing how far you get. I did try to make it mesh nicely with Ley Lines though. The potions I didn't consider, however. It's a good idea and I'll keep it in mind the next time I come back to Druid Magic for some touchups. Currently, I am working on my next skill set.
Ningauble 2012 年 6 月 11 日 下午 4:12
I am a little surprised this doesn't have more aiblities which rely on, or are tied to the fungal arts tree. I imagined a combination of potion mastery and healing/defense abilities. Possibly a few new crafting options using the potion skill.

A very interesting ability list.

Bloom and Barksin do not scale with magic power. I thought about it, but I feel these passive heals would start to get out of control like that.

Gift of the Mountain partially scales off of magic power. It also scales off of Mana Regeneration and Health Regeneration. If you stack these 3 stats, it'll hit hard. Then again, getting hit in melee starts to become extremely dangerous for a mage once you start getting down there.

Heart of the Wood has a small chance to drop powerful buff fruits that you eat. Keep an eye on the ground, as they are dropped rather than put in your pack.

The spells cast by attacking with Nature's Wrath scale entirely off of Mana Regeneration and Health Regeneration, and nothing else. So if your other skills are granting you regeneration stats and so is your gear, it will eat stuf up early.

I'd be interested in your build and what your regen rates are on floor 5.

i've been testing this out on a pure mage character.

bloom feels good early, but it starts to lose effect later on. does it scale with magic power?

shelter is a nice little buff.

vemonous rain is amazing, as is cleanse.

gift of the mountain is cool, albeit, the damage feels too powerful when it procs. i'm assuming it scales with magic power, correct?

heart of the wood is a nice passive. the HoT feels relatively weak, though, but making it and bloom more powerful would probably overpower them. i haven't been able to get the fruit (i'm assuming its a pet, right?) yet, so, i can't comment on that.

nature's wraith is amazing. however, the procs feel way too powerful and happen - at least for me - every swing or every other swing. that's way too frequent.

that's just my experience so far. i'm level 11 and on floor 5, iirc, so maybe all this will change later on.

Yes, it requires the expansion.
Xios 2012 年 6 月 6 日 下午 3:41
Does it require the Dingle expansion?
