Seems like it was related to issues with the Steam Cloud, there was a TTS patch today that addressed this. It should be fine for you guys now.

Hey folks! Just curious how big of a community has grown around this VTT version of HFB? Are there a lot of you playing?

If anybody provides the missing (or better) models, I will gladly incorporate them provided the license allows or the original artist has given their explicit permission.

If any one adds the missing models that would be nice :)

i own some of these and its a shame that spartan games no longer makes em. Glad that this mod exists so i can do soooo much more.

To people asking how to setup the ships: Lock the ships in place above the bases, and then use the Joint tool to connect them. Then unlock.

I'll make a version at some point with pre-assembled bases because I'm tired of people asking who can't do a simple Google search.

All credit to you and MalcomFett for the models and base game, I have made a version with all the ships assembled and I will attempt to create new models, and card stats for the ships not in this one.

How do I set up the ships into the formations?

would it be possible to set up pre-made ship formations just like your old one as i find it a bit hard for someone whos new to this TTS, it would be good to see the full thing eventually on the workshop

The Epoch is already in there. It's been in there since the beginning; it's 1 of the 6 basic ship classes that first released with the tabletop alongside the Paris, Marathon, CCS, SDV, and ORS.

The Phoenix, however, is not there, and probably won't ever be. I'm unlikely to update this further, because I primarily only play private matches with friends with a private version that has all of the missing models. However, I cannot upload that version to the workshop as I don't own those models nor do I have permission to use them.

That being said, though, this version is pretty close to being the full experience. The only missing ships that I can think of are the Phoenix, the Halcyon, the DSC, and the Orion.

So what's included here? As the description says, there's 15 classes of ship included. The UNSC has the Paris, Marathon, Epoch, Valiant, MAC Platform, Halberd, and the Punic while the Covenant have the SDV, ADP, CCS, ORS, RCS, CPV, Blockade Runner, and the CAS.

is there a community for people who play this?

Any plans to add the models for the Phoenix and Epoch?

@THE CAT, probably yeah. Hell, I could just throw the models in right now without the formation overlays. I I just sorta haven't really had the motivation or willpower to bother with it. A lot of that died when the game died (when Spartan Games went down).

I'd probably be a bit more motivated if the manual was available online as well. Maybe some day I'll finally get to it

I'm going to be honest I lost a lot of the will I had to work on this and actually update this. I have most of the new models on hand, I need to do some photoshop work for the formation overlays and stat cards.

If someone has photoshop experience (more than me, at least) and can pump out formation overlays and stat cards it would probably be done a lot sooner.

@Amy+Jon Yes. I already have the 3D model for the CAS, I'm just trying to find time to get it in game along with the formation overlays and stat cards. The Punic will probably be a lot later though.

is there anyway i could get the model files and images used i'm looking at adding the additional models that you don't have in here i would give you full credit but it would save me a tremendous amount of time to not have to scan in all the assets and such

It was wishful thinking that Tabletop would automatically enable you to spawn Items in with the menu rather then having to go to "load Game" then "Expand" which does the same thing with loading in all 104 items... =_=

Because loading in all 104 items on the map just to get the 6 ships makes my $100 pc go really slow for 5 mins while it loads all the un-used Items i don't need. I wanna use them for my own game that I make up as I go along kinda thing. I won't sell or give them away. Just keep them for my pc

Hope you get that job soon, my friend and I have been playing online as he can't afford a set IRL(or a plane ticket across the Atlantic) and I'd love to include my fleet from the tabletop version so he can see my Valiant bricks. :)

Currently am out of a job, but to answer questions from you guys: Yes, there are plans to add more ships. Once I have a regular income again, I will need to buy the new ships for Fleet Battles, and then have them made by malcolmfett, who made the six ships that are currently included.
