Just use an AI task, AI flight, and an AI Combat, set the AI flight to not align to P-Grav then increase the speed limit to 100 meters per second. For the AI Task put a beckon on your ship and set the task to follow home, then select the beacon from the list make sure you set it to follow at lease 100 meters away so it doesn't crash into you. Then the last thing to do is set up the AI Combat block, set it to intercept and to break off at 200 meters and the retreat distance to 850 meters, then you'll be all set just toggle all the AI behavior on and Boom you got a drone to follow you!
