This pack is the last one that was compatible with the older CMANO. The current pack is found in CMO.

I'm not sure I understand this fully. Is it so, that when I subscribe to the Community Pack, then it downloads automatically and I thereby always have the latest Pack?

The CP as such for CMANO is locked now as the pack has been converted to CMO format which is how it will be going forward. The new CP is now some collection in CMO workshop I understand..

I mean for command modern operations. CMANO and CMO has different workshops, for me i load scenarios with browse but it would be simpier for players if we could download same scenarios also in command modern combat workshop.

A few things I just figured out while trying to determine why I didn't have some of the scenarios from the Pack. Maybe this info can be put in the description for the pack?

1) Per the posts from Feb below, the update is only updated when the 'splash screen' is up. I never realized this, and always thought it would just update when Steam checked for updates, just like games.
2) The 'Splash Screen' is the second one with the 'Campaign', 'Start New Scenario', etc... buttons, NOT the initial splash screen w/ the buttons for 'Play', 'Manual', etc...
3) The update does NOT work if you launch COW (which I usually do).

Hope this helps some people.

So I re-subscribed to the pack, let it download in Steam, and popped up the folder (\Command Modern Air Naval Operations\Scenarios\Steam Workshop\CommunityScenarioPack). I didn't really see it updating the item count change (953 items in the folder, note didn't check the sub folder inside the mod).

BUT! I let it sit for a while (left the room, got a drink, played with the dog...roughly 5 min). Came back and presto the game is up!!!!! I closed and restarted the game with no issues again after that as well (and I'm still subscribed).

I guess the lesson here is be a little bit more patient and don't be a Maroszek. :D

If you look at the folder 'Steam Workshop\CommunityScenarioPack', do you see it getting updated while the Command splash is on the screen? There is a larger number of files to copy over now.
My splash screen stays up for a couple of minutes, but then continues when the files are finished being copied.

I just had the same thing happen as @maroszek - it simple sits at the splash and freezes. Windows prompts me to kill the splash as it is not responsive. When it closes I get back to the launcher but can't get in to the game. I have no other workshop items installed.

Well...using the Steam version of the game and it won't load if this is subscribed. I get the splash and then it becomes non-responsive. I have the extended image/database descriptions installed too if that makes any difference. Unsubscribed for now, but I'll watch for any updates and try again if it's fixed. Thanks!

I'm very new at this game so please forgive me if this is a really stupid question: do I need to just subscribe to the "community pack" or do I need to subscribe to each individual community pack?

Can you make it possible to sort scenarios by creators?
I think that will make it easier to select scenarios.

CMANO doesn't start any more when I subscribe to this. It keeps freezing on the splash screen. It seems to be related to newer updates of the scenario pack.

And the last note, I promise: the Excel file name is CommandCommunityScenariosListingUpdate038.xls

Also, if you look, some of the 'duplicates' in the Northern Fury files are marked CoW and others aren't. CoW ones will require having bought Chains of War DLC if you want to run them.

Yes, there are a few scenarios that have not updated well. If you run into one of those, try the single version here on Steam and see if they're playable. If not, then you can try to contact the author, or try to fix it yourself.

You will need to contact the scenario designer. The Packs are just a collection of scenarios from various designers

Can you please check the scenario "Tanker Wars 2017".
2 of 4 ships are supposed to have the Naval Strike Missiles (NSM) to accomplish the mission. These NSM's are needed but they don't appear. I reinstalled CMANO, updated it, downloaded the newest Community Pack and still no joy. Is it a bug?

Should we use this community pack or Community Pack 32?

I'd like to report a bug in one of the mission in the Community Map Pack.

In Operation Fei Lian, the Chinese Artillery near the Nork border used to be able to move nearer to the border in order to be able to shoot the Nork SA-2 site.
Now, when I order to move, it stays still (although the status says 'On plotted course'), and when I manually change its speed, it only goes DIRECTLY northwards, no matter what course I plot for her.

1.12 is now available today. Keep in mind that the Chains of War Scenarios will not load w/o the DLC, and it won't be available for two more days, on the 18th of May.

OK, TY. It was not clear to me that 1.12 was a beta. All makes sense now.

1. Steam does not have beta updates applied, so may not be at 1.12 yet as it has not been offically released (at this time).
2. There are instructions in forum on how to unzip the beta into the Steam folfer to override that. When released,Steam will replace those files.

On 22 Apr MichaelM writes that version 1.12 is required. However, I have just resinstalled this game from Steam. This version is "Command v1.11 Service Release 7 - Build 906.26".

1. Is Steam not set to release the latest version?
2. If 1. is false, is it possible to download and inpendant non-steam patch to update this application?
3. It appears that this community pack has completed its install over v1.11 yet after cross checking the details on page http://www.warfaresims.com/?page_id=1876 I note that no directory \Scenarios\Community folder exists in the Steam/.../Command...WOTY folder. Has the target destination moved, or do I just have a false positive condition here?
