Unfortunately though this mod is probably dead now, as the creator hasn't been online in half around a year.. so there's that :(

Anyone know if there's an item ID for the music box items so you can still play it and stuff? Or perhaps it's the item itself that's broken which is why it won't spawn?

The wording for spawn item appears to be yellow anyways, so maybe it's intentional or something, though that doesn't seem right :/

I noticed it was broken too. Probably due to some update with the way items work or something?

I am still unsure of how to use my midi keyboard to work with MoM, i have a yahmaha PSR-s670

I too have this same issue as well when it comes to the keys only sounding like the piano file. Another question I have is if this mod is vanilla compatible or if it is possible to make it compatable with vanilla only servers?

I to am having the issue that no matter what instrument i choose, it always ends up sounding like a piano...

So when I find the correct number when I press a piano key its suppose to type a keyboard letter?

so I can detect output to emulate a keyboard, but I cant figure out how to get input to use my piano instrument

@HattedDinosaur MIDI layout in this mod uses all rows of keyboard keys from left to right, for 46 notes. You can see which of the note youre playing by particle that flies from your character. Youll need to map midi input to those keyboard keys. Try to search for key mapping programs. I use GlovePIE, but i dont know of any other.

Just wondering, I have a real keyboard with midi to PC adapter but I dont know how to use it with the mod. Any ideas or software links?

And there's one thing, holding-detection with leagto mode can be use to solo, holding-detection without legato mode which means we can play chords.

I checked the following question and have an idea, if this can be called by your mod -- is there a function that can be detect holding keyboard input (no matter the WASD keyboard or a hardware MIDI input)? It will be very easy to handle the ‘collision’ between notes (instead of adjusting ASDR parameters), the following input note will kill the former one, so that may not causing messes. This can be called Legato Mode, mechanically.

@Markus_INC Use ADSR settings to make sound shorter, for example, release length is time in seconds for linear reduction in volume to zero.

Hang on, if you use a trumpet or an electrical gitar, the tone stays for ages. Its realy hard to play if the tones last 2 seconds per button-press. Is there a way of changing that?

For people having trouble with the " key, try switching your keyboard layout to English (United-Kingdom).

The only thing I'm scared about is what happens if players pass these items to others' without the mod.
