@Medibee - Ecigs have existed since just before the 1960s.. So they are still very much within this time period that you mention.
They got modernized a few years back, sure, but they have been around for a very long time..

It should still stick within the style of the time period. Electronic cigarettes are just too modern, it's why there aren't any cell phones in TF2.

its cool, but the only people who would buy them would be the people who smoke them, + there not made for smoking like a cig, there made to help you quit, im pretty sure the spy does not want to quit and the people who miss use them are usually cod playing crack head losers, sorry man you dont got my vote, good job on the model though

Oh, and another idea: a disguised spy is slower than the class they're disguised as. An additional effect would be that the spy's speed matches the disguised class, but as a consequence, cloaking drains 20% faster.

I would add another thing:

Disguised Spies sometimes leave a trail of smoke from their cigarettes; I'd say this should have the effect of not leaving the tell-tale trail, but as a consequence makes the sapper take half a second longer to destroy buildings.

I like this idea and had been tossing it around for a bit myself, although my version had more clunky spytech on it so it was rather (purposefull) unwieldy. I like how you included the TF Industries logo, though!

Smoke and vapor look pretty much the same so the existing particle effect could be used I guess.
