wouldn't it be cool if we could get some more cars like this is Spintires? more cars from pre-1910 that could at least fulfill the objectives in the game. This is a very nice car to drive and I wish there were more like it.

you know what tbh it acctually is pretty good at offroading for its kind of car, probably because of how light it is so it just kinda "floats" on mud

@GrahamTheGreat1 Its slow offroad because engine is very weak like lawnmower but its not actually slow at all on good roads just that you cant get it to top gear in mud. 1st and 2nd gear are automatic but 3rd is the 1+ that only works on smooth roads

but pleeeez add more gears. it is painfully slow.

@woodingot, I have just discovered your work on here and I love it. While others preferences may differ, I too like a challenge, especially when it brings history into the mix. I hope to see more of your work in the future, so, carry on good sir! I mean to put no pressure on you but if you ever have trouble deciding on what to work on next, I'd lovbe to see you make more older chicles, ranging from early industialization and civil vehicles to those from either WWII or other major conflicts.

i just tried this out and its quite good u know on plains map where theres one part of track that every truck gets stuck on this doesnt get stuck there its just moves on threw not geting stuck only one weekness it has. (water hazzards)

@Traxxas_Master Sorry but whole point of this mod was to be challangind and historically more or less accurate. In my opinion there are pleanty of powerful mods out there already and im not particular fan of them so you wont get any of that from me.

sure man if you want shoot me a invite, we can play a game togethers. i play stock maps and STG/dds maps, but i can also install the ones with objects :P
and i just nitpick more or less, i like it and yea its weak but it should be. i was just not expecting the switched gears had to vent that :D

Anyway the vehicle was just made for fun i did not expect it to be able to do any serious offroading it was more meant to avoid the obsticles rather than pass them. It has only 8 horsepower engine so if you decide to do mudding you probably have to crawl in first gear alot. I did test and develop this mod on Hill map and gearing is set based on what i experienced on road between 2 garages. I might look into improving the suspension a bit so it makes better road contact with wheels when difflock is not used that should improve its performance on hardcore mode.

@Actionjackson what map you play on and what roads you take? Maybe we should have hardcore game together some day.

its like 1+ should be like 2nd gear in automatic, and 2nd in automatic should be like 1+ maybe slightly less. than it would be spotless. for casual and hardcore.

if you dont inted it to be used in hardcore you may wana write it down, cause i was surprised by how its set up quiet a bit. rly mate in hardcore you rip your hair out, or you crawl along in 1st gear. thats all it can do unfortunately.

@Actionjackson you have point it being not very good transmission setup to work hardcore because i did not intend it really for that gamemode. As its set up now +1 gear is meant for only paved roads and automatic is meant for all other roads that are not just deep mud. I did test more conventional setup but it did not end up being as good because automatic just ends up stalling the vehicle too often. But hey come to think of it the car is not suppose to have difflock in the first place :P

the car is nice i like it but its not hardcore mode friendly. the 1+ gear the one you can use offroad with locks is to fast it hardly catch offroad. the automatic box which is useless offroad is to slow to for paved road drive, the only palce where it realy works.
so the functionality of 1+ and automatic box is switched around and that makes it terrible in hardcore mode. in casual it works out.
