not any more ty
One of my 'must-have' mods so thank you very much dev!
One thing, the glow is really bright! It messes with the shader and contraster so bright. On one side, I love it bcuz I can see ore from across the map Lol! On another side, it hurts my eyes when I get close to the ore.
If you are expecting a reply you will not get one. This is a great mod but YES there are quite a few ore patches that do not glow and are mineable. Imagine how many hours it would take to cover and catalogue all Skyrim. Just keep an eye out for any light brown strippy rock with a few pink/red splothches. This mod was a great help when I first started out and many thanks to Churchy's Workshop for it's creation.
Second (and personal preference), bright white glow where the textures of the ore get hidden is sort of immersion-breaking. I'll grant you that it's easier to see (like - during the daytime, I can see one from five miles away - and at night, it's simply dazzling), so it fulfills the purpose. There is, however, another mod which uses standard mapping so that only the "ore metal" glows, not the rock.
While slightly harder to detect from longer distances, it's difficult to miss from 100' or so, and also isn't totally intrusive to the experience. Of course, if you're not into immersion and all that, more of a "WOW-like" playstyle appeals, then I'd recommend this mod. As it stands, it's not for me.
Some sort of options menu to change the glow color might be nice, maybe to refresh the glow for all ore spots, and perhaps make different ore types glow different colors might be nice. But, just being able to see where I could be mining is a big help.
I find it useful and am not entirely sure if the issues I'm experiencing aren't caused by other mods. Awesome job. Thanks.
