Hey so for some reason the addon has started to fail to restore the player's data even though I can see it in the SQLWorkbench

If you want a mod of open source from the workshop to work with your closed source server, you will def have problems. This is a basic save system not going to be integrated with inventories or pointshop. Like anything it's best to extract and alter the code to better mend with your current addons. Also if you want an author to even attempt fixing a bug it's counterintuitive to just say it doesn't work for this reason. Post the error you have with a description. As for the font issue;


Extract the addon by going to your addons folder and dragging it directly onto

\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\bin\gmad.exe
This will create an extracted version of the addon for you to edit.
Inside open lua\autorun\client\playersaving.lua



Simply Replace
Trebuchet24 with
DebugFixed
There's 15 that need to be replaced.

Then unsubscribe the addon to the dedicated server or your personal account if u host with that. You shouldn't have the font problem now.

the first issue is caused by the font not existing, its a long time since I did this addon, I think it only supports darkrp because darkrp has that font.
for the mysql, you need to install tmysql I think

doesn't work the playersaving_SaveAll and the playersaving_setup for me it says :

Failed to load custom font file 'c:/program files (x86)/steam/steamapps/common/garrysmod/garrysmod/workshop/resource/fonts/atrox.ttf'
Failed creating font 'Trebuchet24'!

Not a good combination if your server is running Itemstore, after putting a gun into your inventory and you rejoin, you duplicated your gun, one is on your hands and one is in your inventory :/

Also the Weapons Jobs restriction is causing errors for me. Maybe it was better back then in 2016

Does it have to save the weapons when we change jobs ? Because in my server, when we change from citizen to ie. medic, it remove every weapon not registered as "default" in darkrp.

If yes, try it on a dedicated server or with more then 1 playerslot on a local server. Then it should work.

I gave this a shot though i've already ran across an error.

I hope this helps. It's really promising.
