if anyone makes a version of this where the reload time is fixed, let me know, but for now i will be using other mods for magnum that has faster or normal reload times as this, which is a shame because i really liked using this

can this be made to replace the pistol instead of the magnum?

@Paul Stompbox please post link if you do, i absolutely love this mod but the reload animation is a bit longer than the magnum's when hosting, and i can see the difference between when i dont host and i host

this model is great but I would love to see a C96 model that has just an extremely long barrel like a C96 carbine without the stock

@ MagnusTonitrum: Try re-downloading. Workshop messes up downloads occasionally.

I use the weapon sound for the Mauser from Resident Evil 4 and its amazing... Fantastic job! This is my favorite L4D weapon mod so far. I love the animation that loads the bullets one by one instead of the stripper clip when you reload with a bullet in the chamber. That little detail took this gun from an 8, to a 12. Very sexy :)

@ Macho❤Sadness: Only pistols have two reload animations (one for when there is a chambered round and one for when the gun is empty).

I didn't know it was possible to put 2 reload animations. It's the first time I see a mod like this.

Can we get a flashlight on this bitch? Just so those who care about keeping realism aren't affected by the fact that every gun has a flashlight.

The new animations are adorable, but at least the empty animation apparently has a much slower "reload", because "reload_layer" has already finished playing, and there's still a good second before you can fire again.

No problem. I wouldnt stress about it too much. It bothered me only for a day, and then i got used to it. I was going to link a sound i personally found perfect for this but the sound mod is at gamemaps, so idk if its against rules or not.

@ Samwise: Yeah, the muzzle flash has been bothering me too. Haven't had time to fix it lately, but I'll do something about it at some point. (Sorry about the late reply, btw. I was unsubbed from this thread for some reason. Just noticed it.)

These new reload animations are awesome. Just perfect, really. Only thing that bothers me is that when you shoot the muzzle flash comes little late. After firing barrel is pointing upwards, then the muzzle flash flashes. It should flash immediately after firing, not with slight delay, making it feel like you’re shooting up.

But i have seen this happening with other mods as well, so i guess its either tough to fix, unfixable or simply different preference. Its in no way deal breaker though, this is still one of the top deagle mods there is, definitely in top 3 list.

Mines not showing up at all in game, it has the HUD and ammo counter but not the physical weapon.
