I made a fix mod that allows all portraits from this mod to work with the vanilla ones. Currently in 1.9.* but I plan on updating.

I could update maybe within the month. Need to take care of some work business first.

I'm a plant scientists. While this was made main for aesthetics, some plants are diecious (look it up)! =]

You... do realize that plants to gender nutral right? They all have male and female organs...

Their default color is green, but since I make the females essentially violet, this changes the color your eye uses to find them in the list.
I would recommend my organization mod, if you don't mind broken achievements.

Sunlight of your exact species optimal wavelength on alien planets, then why not accept that they would at very least have liquid nutrient shots?

@Hellriser623 I think are just regular organisms with evolutionary background in plants. That would be the reason why they still require food because they should be able to make their own if they were plants in the truest sense. I don't think dimorphism is much of a leap, if you look at it that way.

I enjoy the sci-fi and just let it happen.

Either that or it's simply a design oversight in the game, I think it's even an oversight for the same species of plant/insect to look diferent depending on the individual, the other race types...well...apart from humans they're stretching it a little honestly xD

Most plants are dioecious, but some are monoecious (which makes sense for a sentient race as tranvestitism may not allow the genetic diversity necessary for the evolution of higher intelligence/complexity).
