Sure! Like I mentioned in description: this was really a mod I wrote from scratch based off one that got absorbed into the popular Frackin Universe mod. Glad to see Starbound still has some players :)

May I make a version of this that adds support for the Elithian Race Mod? It adds racial EPPs which work just like the vanilla ones. You would be credited for making this mod, of course.

1st one is for breathing in airless or underwater. The last one protects against fire, cold, radiation and allows you to breath. That's vanilla. This makes it so each one only do one thing.

That was the whole point of combining items into one singular powerful artifact that could do everything for Terraria. Ankh shield/Cellphone/Bundle of balloons. Either way is good for some people.

I don't dislike the mod, in fact I think it's pretty nice someone thought of this, it adds variety. I can't tell if that CyberFox guy is being sarcastic or intentionally dense about immersion though.

I made this myself. I tried FU and they did it so I made one for steam because there litteray was not one. I think the opposite and from a game persepctive its kind of lame to have 1 item that does everything, which renders its existance rather pointless.

The server I made has a ton of cghanges which limits a lot of thinks like this to keep it more in line. Its fine if you don't like it, course. You don't have to explain or justify it though just click back like the thousands before you :)

I get why we enjoy mods like this, but to the CyberFox guy that made it seem like the features this mod changes is objectively immersion breaking? As opposed to fitting a hundred metric tons of raw material, weapons, furnitures, living and dead organisms in your bag of holding, having teleporters that can transport you across galaxy at no cost except for it to be a previously marked location, perpetual motion generation of energy that powers highly explosive weapons as well as a matter manipulator that could work its way through every material known to sentient species, mastery over material science to the point where many objects can just be printed from raw material.

We know energy field manipulation exists, somehow space manipulation is not an impossible feat either, but this is the straw that demolish and desecrate the camel of immersion?

i wanted this so much, like, how would one device that require a huge amount of technology to crate an atmosphere over your body that is breathable also provides shield agains exorbitant radiation levels ? in my opinion, my imersion was broken, spit, cut, burnt and thrown down to hell, but not anymore, one step closed to a better imersive starbound

No idea. Download this and the other, extract them followinf a guide and use notepad++ to see what the .patch changes. If each one changes different things they will work. If they change the same thing the larger of the two mod numbers will override one another; on the parts that wish to change the same.

So look and see. Af for making support of someone else's mod? Sorry I wont ever offer that for Starbound. When you learn how to look for yourself it'll be more rewarding anyways. Its seriously not hard.

Yup can confirm it's fixed.

I was confused when the EPPs in the game had all the previous iterations abilities. Made me wonder why they even had it as an equipable if you were only ever going to wear the highest tier one anyway. At that point just make it a tech or something. But this mod fixes that so I guess what I'm trying to say is "good job!".

Maybe it's just me but I can't seem to find the recipe to craft the Radiation EPP. I tried going into admin upgrading a forge all the way and could see all the others. But no Radiation EPP. Now, granted I have some other mods installed so maybe it's just me but am I missing something?

Sure you could if you know advanced coding. Could write those from the ground up and write new code to replace the current EPPs then point your mod at the scripts for the default EPPs. Good luck with your mod!

I wonder if it would be possible to make Enviroprotection into augment for added modularity.

It kind of would be nice if there were tiered protection where we might be only able to slow down environmental damages/etcrather than entirely negate it in one go.

Like making a new "hazardous environment exposure" bar to bring back the concept of the old temperature bar in a way where you also support the new radioactive/scorching-heat conditions rather than just cold like the old temperature bar did.

This said thanks for this mod. It used to work exacty like that in the nightly branch 1.0 and I felt it thus made augments matter a lot more, but then they changed it into the current version for 1.0 and I'm not sure why they did so.

Hey wierd-named-guy,

Correct. Default is that fireproof EPP protcets from fire, cold, radiation and gives you breathing. My mod makes fireproof EPP only give you fire resistance. Nothing else. So you will need to keep all of the EPPs and switch them out when needed.
