Oh, okay. I didn't know that. I'd like to design crazy cool maps like this, but with college coming up, I just don't have the time right now. *Insert shoulder shrug emoji*

There are options for those using the in-game game editor. I'll keep the ball spawns there and leave it up to Erik as to how many should initially spawn.

One thing I could think of based on the refference image and the description is maybe less balls. I counted 15 balls (based on the small yellow spheres), and you said that this is a small map best for 6-8 players tops. I'd think maybe only 10 balls, that way there is enough for each player and then just a few lying around. :dd_godlike: :dd_disco: :dd_godlike:

I think Battle has a good point though, as the chips might actually be too small to jump on. I can fix that though.

A few notes:
Replace the red and blue chips with single larger sized chips because theyre too small to platform on while going at full speed.
other than that im a more fan of the Neon-style ( All textures are black, except for the visualizers and ball-barriers )

The cylindrical pillars could look like Poker Chips, but they'd be untextured because Erik doesn't like high resolution textures. If anything, that's not too hard, and they can be different colors and such as well.

I'll also shrink the chandeliers.

Looks pretty nice so far, good job! I'd like to make some suggestions too. Those lamps should be just a little smaller imo. Also, what if you made those cylindrical pillars look like a stack of poker tokens? I think it fits with the theme. Don't know if it would look good, but give it a try and see what happens lol.

How will you be able to get up the heart pillars? you might want to raise the mini pillars or lower the heart pillars

Well, I removed the lower floor and moved some stuff around per your request, JoshDangit Also, I can't get the Unity Web Player to work on my end, so I'm not gonna bother with testing the level via browser. The physics are kinda wonky in the Sandbox thing anyway.

I couldn't really come up with a good design for the lower floor. If you have any ideas alongside or even besides removing it, feel free to chime in.

I think the map would be much better if the top floor was larger and the bottom floor was just removed. The design of the top floor is amazing but I feel nobody would stay up there since all the balls would just fall to the lower level, which is much less intresting.

I added wooden and golden materials/textures, as well as chandeliers to the map. Hopefully the lights are ornate enough for you, Erik!

I'm definitely no expert when it comes to textures, but I'm sure I can find some royalty-free ones on google or something.

As for the cards, I can easily remove them if they pose a problem. Also, I'll upload more screenshots once I make those changes.

Anything marked with the LED texture is something I can very easily animate once I import the map data. So don't worry about that aspect at all.

Stylistically I've tried to avoid any large, detailed, textured images. So I'm not personally a fan of the playing card images.

But I do love the idea of a casino / las vegas aesthetic. Ornate light structures, gold/leather/mahogany surfaces & details, that kind of thing. I know that's asking a lot, but it might be a fun direction to attempt with the level.

I'd also really like to see more angles, I'm having a hard time visualizing the layout from the one screenshot.

If you want a Crown decal on some of the walls, I can add that, but as far as adding more cards to the walls, I think we're good with the 8 different Card Posters.

Having the basic RBY color scheme would be neat, but like I said, the RED objects will be the objects that sync to the music. I don't think they stay just red.

2. I was thinking of a yellow symbol inside a reflective rectangle (based of the foil cards from trading card games) as the design (king and queens could be crowns, but im not sure what to represent jack with though) but the playing card posters (the google images) could be at the walls at the bottom

The reason why I want the symbols yellow is to make the colour combo of red, blue, and yellow

There are slopes on each side of the spawns. Besides that, there's not really a way to get up there. I kind of want to leave it like that, but if enough people agree that it's too much of a problem, then I can change the layout.

Also, I updated the walls with playing card images as suggested. I found some royalty-free images off of google for them instead of making them yellowish though.

I think there needs to be a way back up as it looks like the dogeballs will wind up at the bottom, also I think the glass is a nice idea as you could see if an enemy below you has a dogeball or not and can be good for ambushes

Also, I should note that I think everything that's currently red in the map pulses to the beat of the music. I'm not 100% sure on this, but it might actually be the case as I'm using the "LED" texture.

Looks like a map for sick dunks! a suggestion could be to add card like designs on the walls with jack, queen, and king symbols in the middle. the card designs could be foil like and the symbols be coloured yellow (and pulse to the beat of the music). the designs could be based on how far they are from the spawn rooms (from closest to farest: king, queen, jack) I hope this isn't too much

1) The map has two floors, the second floor also having a raised center above the rest. The two Heart pillars on the side will more than likely be a place to store power-ups that you jump for. Other than that it's a pretty straightforward map.
2) A top-down picture is hard to provide, as the side pillars, for whatever reason, seem to go invisible at certain angles in the editor. This is just a visual issue, nothing more.
3) I'll put a Diamond logo on the center platform. The Heart Pillars could potentially be used to pulse to the beat of the music, but I'll have to let Erik handle that.

1.How would this map work in terms of gameplay?
2.will there be a top down picture?
3.Can diamonds and hearts be added to the map design? (hearts could pulse to the beat of the music!)
