The next step is more like a doubt rather than a certainity, you see we begun our military doctrine in 1911 after Chile aid us with advisors to get a second hand Prussian Doctrine (still it did wonders) so we took the German-Austrian Rifles as part of our arsenal, but in the other way (the diplomatic one) we begun to have a more closer relationship with USA after the Panama Crisis.

So, for "Weapons I" it can be either the Mauser M98 or the Steyr Modelo 1912.

For Weapons II you nailed it using the vz 24.
