That being said, I installed it and it runs without issue. I've heard that sometimes you have to uninstall and reinstall the mods to fix whatever issue the update did to the workshop. By that I mean unsub, delete the mod in your directory, and resub. As I said, mine is running fine.

Its the workshop, a few months ago tons of mods suddenly were "too big for plugin" or developed ckm errors and just stopped working. In some instances I've seen this fixed but I don't know if that was the mod authors or the workshop itself. It's extremely frustrating.

just in gerenal: the mod worked fine for me over the years. today I switched to Windows 10 - boom: same error message with that "ckm" sh1t

I have not changed my mod setups since i first installed this mod. So unless some of those mods suddenly decided to be incompatible with this mod, i really dont know what to tell you. I had no choice other then removing this mod to start the game, nothing i did would remove the errror.

Again, nothing has changed on the mod side since 2012. Any errors that are coming up will have nothing to do with the mod itself unless you have a conflicting mod of some sort.

@SylverAutumn Not sure what to tell you. Files were last modified on May 31st, 2012. Anything changed from then on has nothing to do with the mod.

the "workaround" only works if you can successfully load the mods. i had to unsub from everything to even get my mods to load and now i can't load these village mods in specific since then. no other mod is giving me issues and it only started a few months ago

I have seen the load-issue with some 10 mods. There is a workaround though...
Kudos to "ItsDaKoolaidDude" for this tip:
Theres both been a problem where the CKM seems corrupted, as well as the "archive size bigger than the mod". However, if you hit play before the data loads up that mod, it still works.

@Mesk Not sure what to tell you. Nothing has changed since May 31, 2012. If it doesn't work, there's something else wrong - not the mod.

I have the exact same problem when i try to start the game. After this error message, the launcher freeze, then crash.

there is something wrong with the mod for me, the startup crashes when it tries to install. Anyone else have this problem?

I have no idea, @Scouts Madesi. The Special Edition is the same game but with certain mods applied by default. I'd say just stick with the original and mod it with known working mods to look even bette rthan "stock" special edition.

@Melkor I'm not sure what mods are or are not compatible with my mod. The last time I worked on this was in May of 2012, and countless things could've been changed since then. I never had any issues with any of the 100s of mods I sued, but I know a few folks have.

@stephen I don't know what you just said there, but if it doesn't work there's a conflict between this mod and another mod. you have installed.

Can't help ya with that, karabela. It sounds like something is corrupt though. There are no extra resources that are not included in the vanilla game. Also could be another mod you have installed interfering with the Markarth mod.
