i no longer have the file of the map, you can just open it up in the editor and see all the nodes. If it's not available to edit you can go into the folder for the map and add a file named ".unlocker."

There are specific nodes that tell the airdrops where to land, but which of the nodes is chosen is always random.

@Jamesinator It's in the title that this map is out of date and is no longer supported, but to explain why you found that basically Nelson changed around a bunch of object IDs when Hawaii came out and that replaced a bunch of pre-existing objects on a lot of maps. An example would be a Hawaiian Beach Hut that replaced the Tank Head.

There are other recreations of this map that you can find on the Workshop that are more well kept, and have more to explore as well.

This is awesome... But why is there some sort of tower fortification which is obviously not meant to be there/broken on the bridge in Seattle hovering above the tank? This map is so cool but there are a couple bugs...

@Slam Nope, but there is the ***possibility*** of a new Washington Large at some point.

I won't confirm if it will actually get finished or when, as that entirely depends on when Unturned II is completed (the map would have to be released before then) and if I even manage to stay motivated while working on it.

If it does happen though, it'll be nothing like the official Washington map nor this version here.
However, if I don't finish it I will just end up waiting until Unturned II to make a new map.

@Mister Berry well it says the map is outdated now so expect lots of broken things, but as for airdrops if that's what you mean then they haven't changed since they were added so they should still work.

If you mean like how it became outdated, Nelson updated the editor as well as some object IDs which broke a lot of the map, and put it in a state that made it practically unplayable. As well as this I didn't have the time to keep it maintained, so it just kinda degraded and never got proper maintenence. I haven't felt like bringing back the map since the idea was kinda simple and I wanted to make something more unique.

You are the dumbass for not realising that this is just a game and that it was never created to be realistic. Nelson made up his own stories behind things from the game.

Because I wasn't going for a very realistic approach with the map, I only did that for the shape of the landscape. It's just mean't to be a bigger and more explorable Washington.

I would think it would be like an Unturned 2 I guess. Lets be honest though, we can't judge a book by it's cover. 4.x isn't even out yet, which means we have no right to hate on it without any valid evidence or experience to say it is bad. We can only wait for it to come out and try it for ourselves to see what we make of it.

Well actually Nelson officially stated that Unturned 4.x isn't going to replace 3.x, it's going to be a completely seperate game. So all workshop content, cosmetics, and more will stay.

Well to be fair, since the beginning Nelson was kinda rushed when he made Unturned 3.x and so nothing was perfect. I think in his mind 3.x never really was as good as it could have been and there was never really anything he could do about it. However now with 4.x on the horizon Nelson wants to put more time and effort in to making it much more clean and stable compared to 3.x, so since 3.x will basically be obsolete, he isn't so paranoid on making massive changes as they won't mean anything when 4.x is released. Everyone will just move on.
