@Panical, the 0.5x speed (which should be the default option) does not stack with itself, so it results in the perishing speed being reduced by 50%.
I've added additional options, including the both additional speed modifiers, as well as the option to make food refresh while being in the Ice Box.

Does 0.5x mean 0.5x applied to the ALREADY EXISTING 0.5x freezing effect (so in the end 0.25 or 25%) OR 0.5x as finish effect? Things like this always confuse me

数量越小，食物消失的时间就越长。如果食物通常需要1天才能腐烂，那么除以您选择的速度设置，看看那块食物需要多长时间才能腐烂。例如，对于0.1，计算将是1天/0.1=10天，这比1天/0.2=5天长。

@Sad Blueberry The smaller the number, the longer the time it takes for the food to perish. If it normally takes 1 day for the food to perish, you divide that by the speed setting you've chosen to see how long it takes for that piece of food to perish. For example, for 0.1, the calculation would be 1 day/0.1 = 10 days, which is longer than 1 day/0.2 = 5 days.

Hope that clarifies how the settings work!

So if I set it to 0.1 then is that gonna keep my food from spoiling more than 0.2? Because 0.2 is a bigger number than 0.1 so I'm kinda confused but then 0.1 is closer to infinite so I just assumed 0.1 means it's the strongest before the food does not spoil at all. Please clarify

Find tuning.lua file in your game folder at dontstrave/DLC00X(1 or 2)/scripts/tuning. There is a line of code (FRIDGE_PERISH) and you can set how fast the food perishes (even never perish or even restore the freshness of food).
