There is no way, to the best of my knowledge, to have the decay rate to be parabolic (for the lack of a better term). However, if you want, you can easily go into the file that you download for the mod and change the decay from 4 to something else like 3 or 2 and that will make the ramifications of war last longer. I say easy but it is a little conviluted since the file is within a zip.
