@Evil Wheat: It wouldn´t work as a taxi then, but maybe you could mod it into a civilian car or a bus. There is a prop version tho that you can place that doesn´t require dlc, but it doesn´t drive.
I might be missing the files for this, I haven´t been playing the game for a while

Oh, okay thanks.. I have an old checker taxi asset and didn't realize their was a difference between the civilian and other taxis.. so this taxi asset works as like a bus or something if it's not civilian.. very cool ! Might have to get AD at some point, but since I can finally play with assets and mods offline and all my mods are finally working again, I'm not making any changes for a while..

@Dimensional One: Sadly, we can't have working taxis without AD. :(
If it would be a civilian vehicle, then it would act like the other residential cars.

A favorite of mine but the game now says dlc afterdark required. I don't blame them if they made it part of the AD expansion. Is it possible to have a reupload for the vanilla game ?

@maestrya72: You should find it in AVO with the name "Taxi Cab", the default taxi has the same name but it should be there too

I'm using Advanced vehicle options 1.7.1 and I can't find this brilliant taxi. A my I the only one experiencing this issue?

More boxy cars on the boxy streets among the boxy buildings. None of this new-age aerodynamic nonsense. No sleek, chrome grilles from yesteryear. Only boxes.

On that note, any Buick models from the 80s and 90s would be awesome. The 85-90 Electra or 70s-80s LeSabre are all boxes, all the time. Aside from boxes, though, those cars looked much meaner back in the late 50s, if that ever strikes your fancy.

At any rate, keep 'em coming, Archie. You're great at diversifying the traffic of a diverse city.
