Is it possible to make a top down racing camera view?

Needed? Probably not. It never was. Does it still work? I suppose it does and is probably a good option for old school players

Thank you for this, the chase cam delay was driving me nuts, I thought I was suddenly a crap driver. The locking to the rear of the car really makes a difference.

Yes trackside replay cams, there is a couple of tracks that force me to watch in free cam, not just camera angles though, next / previous car select is also a random mess, we need replays like r factor, easy to toggle through the field, at least 2 quality TV cams and a camera hold which stops the camera so you can watch the leader come past then press to to hold cam until all cars pass, then release to go back to the leader, I loved watching replays on that but this is more hassle, I have had a look but can't figure them out lol,

You mean as in trackside cams or just car cams? I probably won't change the trackside cams, if those are even changeable at all, it would be too much effort :P Though I will change the car cams eventually, make them more realistic, more fun and more cams maybe? But I won't do that before I actually have more time for modding

one example was mid way through sp 2 a camera was under the ground, possibly others.
I wanted to do that as next mod, every camera it long low realstic and shows all the action, but havent yet figured replay cams out lol

Which camera fixes have there been? It literally only restores the cameras from before the weird new ones, but I also thought about making a custom cam mod that looks even more realistic and slightly better

This is a great idea, Bugbear are silly for adding what I call "impossible" camera angles, meaning you would have to have an invisible bar connected to the car with a camera on it to get that stupid none realistic chasing the car effect, mix 1 reverse replays are ruined by this!, there is only one way, max Fov, start far and low, and see cars come past, finished late, like on TV (real life!!!!)
My only worry is that I guess this mod also undoes the camera fixes?
