It has references at the bottom. It's not like they published their findings on wikipedia. The info is all there. Wikipedia is fine for basic non disputable information. The page literally just says what the project was, who was involved, and what they found.

The gospels all give contradictory recounts of what happened. The gospels also were not authored by the same person the book is named after. Most of the gospels are anonymous. So yeah, it's hearsay. They don't have to be a liar. They just had to be convinced of something that wasn't actually true.

I care, because believing the world is "young" is a VERY radical idea. It completely changes the way you view the world, and will cause you to make decisions that can effect you, or others poorly. It means you will vote based on ideals not grounded in reality.

We have many species of fish that live partially on land and do fine. As well as many legged creatures that live mostly in the water. We have species without flying capabilities, that make use of feathers. We have species without feathers, that have semi-flight capabilities, without feathers. Just think about the questions you're asking, and take a look at the bio-diversity on our planet.

I don't believe things because I'm told. I believe things because they have been consistently demonstated to be true. Many fields of science are only possible explicitly because they use evolution. Literally everything we know about biology demonstates the truth of evolution.
