Awesome, but for some reason the background(s) makes my game crash when i change the sound output from headphones to stereo speakers or vice versa...

Nice and atmospheric mod. The installation was a bit tricky, but it worked fine with using GCFScape. Thanks for sharing :steamhappy:

Is possible use this mod without the background music? Because i have already other background music in game and this mod replace it. Anyway very nice :)

Lovely addon.

EXACT steps:
1) Download GCFScape
2) Subscribe to this add-on (or any custom intro add-on).
3) Go through your local disk until you reach "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop" and find the .vpk file (organize files by date and click the first one)
4) Right click and open with GCFScape
5) **OPTIONAL** Go through the files stated above "\ Left 4 Dead 2 \ left4dead2 \ sound \ music \ l4d2" and "\ Left 4 Dead 2 \ left4dead2 \ media" and copy ALL into a new folder (in case you want to change it back)
6) Click "l4d2_background01.bik" and drag it over into the "\ Left 4 Dead 2 \ left4dead2 \ media" location and replace it. You HAVE to copy this file and paste it 5 TIMES so you can replace background01-background05.
7) Do the same with the sounds; extract all of the files in the "sounds" folder from the .vpk file into "\ Left 4 Dead 2 \ left4dead2 \ sound \ music \ l4d2" and replace them.
8) Relaunch L4D2.
