Eating speed multiplied by 200%, flip! MY PEOPLE LIKE TO FOOD BINGE! I just lost my emergency food supply becuz of that. :D At least not my reserve power supply (it blew up in a raid)

Dogs are used in the military in multiple roles. most common ones being to search for IEDs and for Military Policing and Civilian Control. so a pet makes sense since this is a scifi/fantasy game so there are plenty of possible reasons. I believe in the book series "Hammers Slammers" cats with various sensors and cameras attached were used to scout inside hostile spaceships for breaching and boarding teams to enter and clear it out.

@Super7s its a super huge pain in the ass. Especcially if you are on mac. I'm not exactly sure how to do it on windows, it has something to do with going into the resource folder for rimworld and replacing the thumbnail with one of your own.
