Thank You.
Would it be possible to label the keys with the creature's type? Like "Key-Mud Crab", "Key-Dragon Priest", "Key-Giant", etc? I've like 10 Keys, and don't know which Bosses remain. Thanks again for an outstanding mod.
So technically, you can't find it anywhere, but it is really simple to port the file over to SSE from Standard Edition, it's just a drag and drop from one game's files to another.
However I would like to know if there is a possibility to fight the bosses again. If I unsubscribe and resubscribe does that mean that I can slay the bosses again ? Are you planning to add more boss fight or maybe do another mod like this ?
Admittedly, this was my first mod that I thought was worth publishing, so some issues like that are inevitable. My initial thought behind the final boss fight was rather different from the current one, but unfortunately I wasn't capable of producing the fight I had wanted, hence the disappointing ending. I understand that it was underwhelming, but at this point I don't want to change the too much, if it can be avoided, as I have much larger projects to focus on.
Also the book system was added as a way to force the player to not blindly follow a quest marker. But as you said, it can be tedious to follow at times.
And the chests were originally used as bosses would occasionally disappear upon death, making their loot impossible to get. This was resolved to an extent when I added the keys to each boss, but the chests were already there and I didn't want to cause potential issues for some players.
-Each individual boss provided their own unique functionailty and combat style (to an extent).
-Rewards you appropriately with uniquely enchanted gear and ect.
-Bosses are actually challenging!
-Encourages you to seek an adventure.
Cons:
-No quest log/tracking making it a tedious task to always flip through the book.
-If a boss had loot within a chest via area, it wasn't always as clear to see thus missing out on loot if not persistent.
-The end boss wasn't as uniquely designed as said others (considering his position among the dragon cult).
-Ending was also a bit of a lack luster in terms of loot.
Anyway thank you for your help. :)
