Probably because you didn´t disable zonechecks and it´s a corner building. Use plop the growables Mod.

Awesome building mate!. However when I manually plop it using Find it Mode, it starts building up and disappear right away. Any idea why?

There NEEDS to be more buildings on the workshop that are of an old style like this and others on the workshop, with the old sort of masonry/art deco style. Building's one of the best on here. Many a thank for this!
