did this voice pack for anyone stop working for WOTC cause it worked just fine up until recent same with some other voice mods I used?

It works fine in WotC, I've been using it for years.

I just wish this was for WOTC

This is the best made voice pack ever. All the lines are perfectly chosen for each action, and pretty hilarious.

@mosa8013 If you do decide to do a G1 Megatron, the used an updated Frank Welker in Transformers Devastation (if it even has enough clips to use for X-Com!) Thanks for this one it's great as well, but I know a lot of the players that are dedicated to the new X-Com, probably played the old and are G1 fans above all else ;) Thanks again!

@ vamcj, yeah I know. Right now the way you get the Spark voices to work with Spark units are by setting the gender to none, which has the side effect of opening it up to all units. Unfortunately there isn't a specific designation for the Spark units right now as far as I know.

@mosa8013 A small and insignificant BUG I found was :
The voice of Megatron is available for female soldiers

Perhaps adding lines from Transformers PRime would be good too!

After all, I can think of no better response to being possessed or mind controlled than 'WHAT ARE YOU DOING INSIDE MY HEAD?!'

@ vamcj, yes I did run it through a radio filter, it's not as noticable as on other human voices just because of the robotic nature of his voice. I did not run it through any robotic filter and yes you can use it as a human voice.

@ vamcj, I deleted the modshadercache.upk it's an uneccessary file and it shouldn't be appearing in your files if you download the mod.

A single question :
1) You had problem with the file modshadercache.upk file? You fixed it?

@mosa8013 I loved the games too and I do love the G1 cartoon but there are some personal flaws I can't get over.

Starscream is the only other character who's voice I have a problem with.

@ mirageandjazz1197, this is my favorite set of Transformer games and I think they did a perfect job with the voices. I grew up watching G1 so I'll always prefer the way they sounded there lol but I will agree Megatron did come across as incompetent a lot in the series. I think they did him justice in the games.

The G1 Welker voice was really whiny and pathetic I'm glad the Megatron in the games actually sounds like a warlord and not a bumbling idiot like he acted in the cartoon.

I do like other Megatron voices just saying just thought the orginal voice was whiny.

This Megatron is softer compared to the G1 version (and agreed @ Ducimo, my favorite Megatron but it's easier pulling files from a game and the Cybertron series is the Transformer game I have). I also ran it through the preset radio filter on Audacity which softened it up a bit more. Unfortunately I don't have the unfiltered files anymore. I'm not too skilled on the sound editing side but if I find an easy way to apply a robotic filter (no preset robotic filter on Audacity I don't think) or undo the radio filter I'll look into it. I'm perfectly happy with the voicepack as is but if it doesn't take too much effort I'm willing to create a seperate "more robotic" voice arc, no promises though.

Yeah I agree. Maybe add a robotic filter over the voices to make them some just a bit more harsh and robotic. But over all, yes please add more voices :)
