Would it be difficult to reverse what is displayed? (ie, make what's displayec right-way-round when viewed from the back.)

This mod is way better than DLC.

Maybe the fact you have more sizes and the image is not fliped horizontally if you want to use it as window block build from outside.

@Vitilate-17 the dlc is already bs. If keen took this down that would be the final straw for me. Keen I love what you've created, but at this point the community is far more competent at making your game than you are.

I use this instead of Keen's backwards DLC Bullshit. Once modded, always modded.

I have the DLC this is better.

Well regular LCDs were always seen through this, the issue was seeing transparent LCDs through transparent LCDs, projections had the same issue (both ways).
But yes that is no longer an issue as mentioned in change notes and the description.

Someone else did make rotated/stretched versions of the DLC one, with DLC requirement.

Keen didn't take any model nor the tricks used in this mod.
Only thing they stole was the idea, which is a common one though, people likely had it before, I just was able to implement it with tricks.
That doesn't mean I like the situation with the Transparent LCD and Console Block.
I'm not a fan of mods being indirectly added as DLC.

I'm surprised KeenSWH hasn't demanded you remove the mod since they basically stole it and made everyone have to pay to use it. xD

Keen has now stolen several mods. I raised a fit about one they stole and they took it out of the DLC and made it free to use. Perhaps you should throw a fit about them stealing your mod and get this into the base game free for everyone. :P

Or just add a tag line below known issues that says "Yes, I know KeenSWH stole my work". xD

I suggest print screening your mod original upload date and all in case Keen deletes it and tries to claim you violated rules or something. I don't trust them that much anymore.

I could have sworn I looked for the update on the mod page but for some reason, I did not see that it was updated on the 24th (maybe a senior moment). So I thought Keen back ported their update and broke yours. Anyway, my bad. Also, thanks for your help and your mods. Dude you're totally awesome!

This mod got updated actually, I can't really support both current versions and older versions.

Thing that really sucks is that "they" (Keen) back ported the change for the mod to older beta's. I'm still playing 1.191.108 (I also tried 1.190.101, not working there either) and Digi's mod appears purple now. I'm pretty sure if I bought the DLC it wouldn't work in 1.191.108 but then, maybe I'm wrong. Not that I'm buying the DLC. Anyway, I thought I wasn't supposed to get any updates. Now that's real dirty! I guess that's what I get for thinking.

Nice to remember this mod isn't 3.99

Love this, Head's Up display, throw in my two cents for sloped, This and Whiplash Horizon are just perfect

I just thought it would be cool if you could use these in place of windows as a kind of Head's Up Display for your ship (would be perfect with the new 'Script' readouts). Though it really needs them to be one-sided, aaand for the back of the panels to have the same color & tint as the windows :)

Is it at all possible to have a one-sided transparent display? So you have the image on one side but be blank/clear on the other?

Can we have some sloped transparent screens? My forward nav bridge only has 3 flat windows I can turn into LCDs, and I have four LCDs worth of data to display XD

It seems to effect the screen facing inside the cube space (which when mounting this is really the one you want the most) vs the side flush against whatever your mounting to. (you can see this really well when mounting to a window)

Projectors don't seem to know the display is built. When setting a projector to Keep Projection and Show Only Buildable the projector continues to show the LCD as not built (even after it is), so the LCD and Projector fight over the same space and you get a weird flickering and most times can not read your display. Any idea other then turning off the projector how to fix this?

Automatic LCDs 2 works fine although the !LINK command doesn't (not a major issue).
Any chance of doing the other LCDs? I'd love the 2x1 screens.
Also can you make it less dark, like almost 100% clear.

What would be the possibility of setting a particular color for the background to make these go opaque when desired?

a thing i just noticed with the bridge i'm building i could need a centered screen, in the middle of the block. not sure if it'S possible to do but would be a nice addition for uneven blocksize builds ;)

Projections are using the same dithering transparency as this does, so yes these will cover projections and vice versa.
