Once more i am using this train station in a city of mine. This time i learned that it deals waaaay better with external train traffic than the vanilla train hub, since it is spawning by whatever reason shorter trains than that vanilla hub. The behaviour regards length of trains is surly a result of the Optimized External Connection mod, which i am using. Many thanks again for this station, see: https://youtu.be/jOu0lPlXUis

Any chance of making a six and/or eight track version of this station?

The trains on the main side work fine. But trains arriving on the far side simply disappear when they arrive, there are no exceptions.

It acts weirdly with intercity trains : they can't use all of the railways (works fine on local trains though), and when i tried to switch my local line and intercity line, it pushed a bugged node onto its junction with the main line but solved the problem... but since i didn't have the broken node detector at the time, i couldn't remove the node so now it's back to the station...

@sharpimge: If you have MOM installed and it is working properly, when you place this station you can choose what type of tracks it has. I have at least one city with this station where two of the tracks are metro and the other two are (regional) train.

Hi. Not to convert from train to metro where there's a combo of metro tracks and train tracks on land and underground. There aren't many (1 maybe 2) in the workshop that are okay. Definitely not your stations. Anyways, was hoping some time in the future, when you had time, you could make one that has a station with both metro and train tracks as well as small train/metro stations but those are not combined like the big station. Unless they can be... anyways thanks for replying to my post.

there is a way to place this station as a metro station by using "Metro Replacer"

this is a great looking station! any chance you could swap out the train tracks for monorail tracks to provide a 2 platform monorail station? no multi platform monorail stations exist on the workshop and this one somewhat matches the default monorail station aesthetic.

Yeah I'm using loading screen mod, tried the station out and it works perfect! Wish there was 6 platforms.

The station has 14,500 triangles

Also do you know how many polygons this has, it looks like a low amount but I need to make sure it works with my 8GB of RAM

Hopefully this doesn't make CS fail to load, it takes 8 minutes to load most of the time and it goes into not responding mode a bit. If this works then I'll be happy, all I want is a 2/3 platform station, the vanilla stations are only 1 platform.

Finally looks like I've found a train station I want, I noticed some people said they were having issues with the other platform I just want to check if you are having issues as well, anyways thank you for creating this asset, looks really good and it'll be useful for me. Also does it works with no mass transit?

it works with the road on just one side, if you put pathways at the end of the platforms. Sometimes the cims walk across the tracks from the middle platform, but that more seems to be a function of the AI taking the shortest route. They do NOT do that if there are roads on both sides...or at least that I have noticed. Again, a well made station that has NEVER given this player any issues as far as stability, even with the Sunset Harbor upgrade. No game play ones either, now that I understand your design thinking. no problem, I thought it should also work with streets only on one side, but maybe I am wrong. The important thing is that the area where the ramps are are connected with streets. let me know if there are still any issues

ahhhh, thank you for the fast response....that is the piece I am missing, only have roads on one side. I have used this for a long time, it fills a need very well and has given me zero issues other than one that is caused by my road design :-)

you have to make sure that the station is connected with streets, ideally on both sides, so people can enter and exit the station through the ramps (e.g. 3rd picture)

Love the station, perfect for keeping inner and intra city trains separate. I have had no issues with this, even post SH. I have had an issue with passengers filling up platform that all say walking to some valid point in my city. I note a author comment about broken escalator....how do I get my cims off the platforms?

This station works great for having the metro and the railroad (train) stop at the same place

If anyone's having the same problem as Kokosz, you have to either uncheck modern stations, or go to the config file of the MOM converter.

This is a great station to fill the wide open void between the default double track station and gigantic eight track stations that come with Mass Transit. I use it to provide outside connections without flooding my inner rail network with trains from other cities transporting only a few passengers.

I'm playing with no mods and occasionally find that this station generates no traffic from outside the city. This seems to be remedied by connecting the outside tracks with the platform closest to the road and the intra city lines with the track farthest away,

Actually, the problem look sto be that they constantly spawn for no passengers. Again, thoughts?

I'm using some trains from the workshop and when they spawn in this station, the lead engine reverses into the car behind it then the train disappears. They are longer than the station is and can understand why that would be an issue, but it only happens with this station, and not the vanilla ones it seems. Thoughts?

Is there any possibility to divide both station platforms to allow/forbid outside connection trains? For example I want outside trains on the right platform and inter-city trains on the left platform and I dont want to have outside connection trains blocking this platform.
