So are you literally suggesting that you port over the models with their original animations? lol, you could easily just rig it to the default shotgun skeleton and speed up the process. It might require custom anims, which I could see about doing.
Now so far we have been able to get the models out of DOOM 4. The biggest issue so far is the textures. The most we've ripped is a single cubemap. We still need to, like, reverse-engineer the texture archives, then crack the megatexture encryption.
Also, if there could be an alt version with pump sounds that would be great.
There could be a Doom model replacement but its best left to people who can do it well. People such as Lt. Rocky or Prophet.
The other problem is that the combat shotgun in Doom has no reload animation so that complicates things a bit as you (obviously) need to put shells into the shotgun in L4D.
Give it time and I'm sure someone will start porting them over.

Also I hate to be that guy, but what map did you record this on? It looks... eerie.
