The Day One retextures are nothing short of amazing and (besides looking cleaner), actually looks of higher quality than Valve's originals.

To all of you wanting the Day One skins released for Garry's Mod/SFM: I'm interested in doing so, but I can't say when it will happen since I'd like for a Gmod/SFM release to be just a bit more than a simple port.

In the meantime, there's nothing stopping you from just extracting the textures from the addons and putting them into your Gmod/SFM installs, provide you know how to.
