Thank you so much for this, my goddamn campaign bugged out when I opened it this morning, completely obliterating most of my alliances for some reason, and the game acts like I broke them.

If you are Unreliable in a saved game and install this mod, do you go back to being Steadfast? Also, is there a legit WH2 version?

I have this mod enabled, playing as wintertooth and my reliability keeps dropping when other factions declare war on me, do the new races need to be changed still or do i have a seperate conflict?

Could you please explain the difference between this mod of yours and the "Unbreakable Alliances & Vassals" from Filay?

Does your mod do everything that his does, or is there something different in how alliances and war declarations are handled?

As far as i understood your mod just removes the penalty but you still are forced to break an alliance if you want to avoid joining your ally in war?

If that is true would you consider making a version of No Treacheries mod that also lets you stay in an alliance after refusing to join a war, in addition to the usual benefits of your mod?

Okay, so...if I'm reading this right, this will prevent you from losing your reliability rating because of alliances and whatnot yes? Say if one of your idiotic allies pulled you into a war against someone you had treaties with

It only affects the Player, as the AI Reliability is bound to its Personality.
So its just another Handicap for the Player, not to abuse the Dumbness of the AI...

Question: Does it affect only how the AI sees the player's reputation (i.e. your reliability ratting) or does it affect AI x AI relations too?

There should be a mod that does this but only when say your ally asks you to help on a war against someone you have a non aggression pact with and its either yes or no and break the alliance, which is really stupid. If you honor your alliance, especially a defensive one, you should not take a trust penalty

Is it possible to make a version of this mod that only tweaks the AI after the warriors of chaos are destroyed and you reach the "age of peace"? Because reaching the age of peace turns every faction aggressive and unreliable, meaning within 10-15 turns they'll all have broken aliances with each other and declared war. On paper it sounds kinda cool, but in-game all it does is turn everyone mostly against the player while making any and all diplomacy with anyone impossible, ruining that entire mechanism of gameplay. Surviving the age of peace has actually been the biggest challence, since usually most of my empire armies are up north dealing with the invading norscan/warherds/warriors of chaos and then my empire gets torn apart from previously-friendly neighbours almost as soon as the WoC are done in.

When i want to join a confederation in the diplomacy screen i get likelihood high playing as empire to another same faction. ie empire ti join wessland.
In the window confederation i mouse over the symbol to see what i get or have penalty with.
This is what it Say's
Turns remaining 5 (this never changes)
The sudden expansion of territory has caused instability through out the land.
-diplomatic relations -30 with all empire provenances
Public order -8
Further confederations will not be possible while this is in effect.
This is on every option to confederate any provenance of my own kind what is wrong here..
This was not the case before the new updates.

MINOS think you can look into reducing confederations between ai factions? It gets obnoxious at times. Before you know it there are only like 4 factions on the whole map.

u keep seem to be making all these great little mods that the game devs decide to make shit decisions over hurrah. ill give u my personal example since the total war update,

allied with 8 dwarves/ declare war on red eyes, 7 dwarves dont support me and now ive lost all military alliances with them, fking brillaint design. i look straight for a mod like this aftwards. oh i was unreliable in the first place because i supported a defensive ally dwarf who was attacked by an empire i was non agression with. somehow the gamedevs think thats worht making me unreliable and losing diplomacy for 40 some turns.
