Update: Im Currently Busy with life and the like and I'm sorry I didn't get around to the new Update. So I wanted to make a statement.
From this point forward, I give the Entire XCOM community the permission to Edit and update Any and all of my mods as they so choose. No-one is expected to credit me for it if they don't want to. Thanks for the Memories Guys, Its been good but I don't know IF or WHEN ill be back, so this is kinda my last Oh-rah! See ya'll Later!

Well in order to update the mod now, im going to have to repost the mod as a new workshop page ( -_-) Yaaaay So this is a notice to anyone who likes the class and wants to get updates from here onwards. ill repost the mod and set a link to it in this mods description.
Update will be posted monday.

Update: I May have some bad news. A few months ago i had to format my pc.
I had gotten everything that was important to me and stored it on a flash drive, And transfered it to my pc after i formated it.
Ive got all my mod data but.........But i Lost my "Mod ID" which allows me to update the mod to this Workshop page.
Ive contacted support to see if i can get the Mod ID back somehow, but im prepared for the worst.
TL;DR I may have to reupload it to a new page in the workshop. Crossing my fingers.

Ya I am also going to be updating the in game discription, a user named boisegangpc Commented a New discription he made, and i realy liked it So i figured id Update it to what he Changed it to.

Ill be giving him all Credit For the new Discription. :D

Ok everything seems to be working fine, for all of my mods

So now the question is, Who wants me to Rework the mod (Maybe nerf a little)
And who thinks everything is fine as is. (Ill make a sub forum in the mod page)

Hey dmc, Just a lot of medical Crap, no need to worry though, i maight actualy have time to look into Xcom modding very soon (Maybe today actualy, im feelin pumped up :D)

Ill have a look at all my current mods to see if everything still works, and if one(or more) doesnt work ill update them and hopefully make them work.

not sure, sorry ive been out of the modding loop for awile, and havent got enough time anymore.
Ive had to completely reset my pc many times now and im getting fed up with my luck.
I dont know when or if i will update it, sorry everyone.

For my playthrough, I changed the Scorpion's class description to "The masters of the gun and blade, Scorpions are quick, silent, agile, and deadly. Able to specialize in sneaking around the enemy's defenses and going for a weak point or full-on guns-blazing combat, the Scorpion is a versatile soldier class." I felt this sounded like an actual description instead of the rather out-of-place "A soldier that specializes in one of two fields".

Ya, sorry i havent been commenting or posting lately, ive been hella busy with irl stuff.
Some time around february is when all the chaos will subside, then ill be able to test and balance a bit more freely.

All 3 are ridiculously good, but especially Blademaster at Corporal?

Sergeant
At this rank you pretty much don't have to worry about dying anymore...

Lieutenant
Now nothing can even get close to you, even if surrounded.

Captain
The only "Meh" promotion...all 3 are still great, especially Tactical Sense.

Major
Untouchable makes this class completely unkillable unless you suck.

Colonel
No reason to bring anything but Scorpions now

Brigadier
Might as well not have Brigadier since you're god-like at Colonel.

Love the concept, just needs a bit of tweaking to be fair, in my opinion...I play on Commander/Ironman and this would be unbelievably OP. Too many good options at each rank. Like a Samurai + SpecOps combined. I'd say get rid of Untouchable and make Blademaster Captain rank...Thanks for taking the time to mod, I just hope I get to use it sometime without breaking my campaign. :)

Thanks dmc, im actualy looking into what fits the class and what doesnt. The middle perks are currently just thrown in to keep the long war perks pack happy, It tends to be a bit "Picky" to say the least, if the middle out, the whole class mod wouldnt work. Im also planning on becoming more active on xcom aswell.

I would have to disagree with this class being that OP, given the OP enemy mods this isnt bad at all. This class gets stronger as the game goes on especially when dealing with various codex, avatars, chryssalids and so on. Not to mention the rulers that can move twice!

The fact that this hybrid class does several things well is a plus instead of being pigeonholed into a category. Rebalancing isnt bad just dont loose the core functions, close combat specialist, tactical sense, locked on and ever vigiliant or perhaps make these core functions but that depends on the author.

My guess as to why people unsub: This is literally the most overpowered mod I for XCOM 2 I have ever seen. You could literally pick a random Perk every promotion and no matter what combination you went with, the Scorpion would still be more powerful compared to any other soldier in your squad...it just breaks the game.

The items i used from them are
Halo reach robotic arm, i used an odd glitch to get the arm useable with the titan fall armor and then added an anarchies children sholder paldron to the robotic arm.
Then i used the Unsc Odst helmet

Dmc32, Thank you XD, Im glad you like it, I Usualy run Hellreaver, I find that if you give the unit a speed upgrade he seems to perform better in CQC (For obvious reasons), I thought about making shotguns and Assult rifles the primaries he could use but then i thought it would end out to much like the ranger, so i went with sniper rifles, My thinking being, "Well he is more of a point defence one one side and silent assassin on the other so Why not." And i can agree with untouchable being torn out as it is a bit OP from my own testing, run n gun im a bit partial on but i can see why one wouldnt like it as much, and gun n run i havent tested that much but after your comment i will. So thank you Dmc for the feedback and im glad you like it so far. If you wouldnt mind, id like to add you as a friend on steam to keep in touch. Would that be alright?

mod is good, I prefer a combo of hellreaver and ghostwalker. the perks on the class I like are close combat, squadsight, cutthroat, ever vigiliante, tactical sense, covering fire and shadowstep. Blademaster is good with the sword or axe. Untouchable, hit n run and run n gun are kinda vanilla to me. Run n gun is great if youre planting a shotgun at the aliens head in the end imo. But this guy isnt close combat kind of a tweener, close combat and squadsight. But untouchable, run n gun and hit n run could possibly be swapped for somehting else but its not earthshattering.

Its several mods, teh chest and left arm are Dor's(I think) titanfall armor the arms are a halo armor mod, i cant remember its exact name but ya, titan fall and a halo reach armor mod

Squad Sight only effects sniper rifles from my tests. Im sure sniper rifles are what causes the lower hit rates when in CQC, if you use an assault rifle you shouldnt have issues with -aim at close range. Ill do some extra testing to make double sure about it though.

I like this class, trying to figure out how to effectively use it. I see the Lone Wolf wish that was earlier in the tree so you could you him as a Lone wolf. I see squad-shot and close combat but how can you use both with squad shot he misses close combat shots because their penalized for close up shots.

Its this mod, but in order to get it in that configuration i had use a bug/glitch/method and its an arm model (Kinda like the Anarchy's children dlc with all its weird arm stuff) So if you want to have arms from the actual game + the robot arm you need to install a mod that will also add the defult arms to the list.

Hello! I've been trying to get the new LW perks to work on my own custom mods but the 3rd line of perks aren't showing up. Do I need to do more than just add the new perks/abilities into the XComClassData ini? Thanks!
