how do you tweak the snap shot penalty?

(at least for me) crashes the game.

idk if it's this mod causing it but some of my units either don't have the ability to shoot nor use overwatch but can use their perks on enemies, even their ammo seems to be completely gone.

Obviously it does not.

Does this work with TLE and/or WotC? Or is there an updated version somewhere?

A perk i would like would be called Unload
Unload: Uses both actions.
Takes all remaining shots in the weapons magazine.
Each shot gains a subsequent -5% to aim.
Overheating causes every 2 shots to require 1 turn cooldown on reloading (Rounded up)

Ex: 2 shots (minimum) 1 turn cooldown, 3-4 shots 2 turn cooldown, 4-5 shots 3 turns

Looks like a fun and decent mod however without controller support, even when using the keyboard to navigate the promtion/perk UI, it crashed everytime...so cannot use =(

I'm a month late, but I'm assuming you'll need to use console commands to convert all your soldiers to vanilla classes before removing it. Even then, there might still be a few bugs.

They need a version of this for the perks in the leader pack (e.g. collector, get some, etc.).

Are you able to un-install mid playthrough?

Over on Reddit _Robbie has re-created the Long War Perk Pack for WotC, based off the "LW2 Classes and Perks" mod.

They're willing to pass the files to someone to upload as they don't have the SDK.

I don't have a Reddit account, which is why I'm hoping someone who is will read this and help out

Could that hypothetical person suggest:
1 - robojumper's Alternative Mod Uploader (upload mods to the Workshop without the SDK).
2 - Upload to Nexus mods [www.nexusmods.com] (requires a Nexus account)
3 - Upload to File Dropper [www.filedropper.com] and let me know and I'll upload to Nexus, post here or on Reddit. (File Dropper doesn't need an account).

True. There are not working directly on it, but the LW - Community tries to make an fitting adaption.

2K paid for LW2, but there is no contract for a WotC version of the mod and Pavonis wants to work on their own game, Terra Invicta.

Because they dont get paid for it? As much as I would love the LW2 Classes in WOTC, I understand, that they are not our ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥... ;-)

@Blaze how can a team like this just drop something like a hot rock when there's still so much demand for their work? World of Warcraft addiction?

The only way we're gonna get an update to this is if someone else does it; Pavonis has publicly stated they have no plans to update any of their mods for WotC. Someone, get on it! Please!

Damn because these perks are a much more intersting base for classes than the vanilla skills

No it isn't. You can only get the Technical in LW 2.

Guys, I have a question. I really want to play as the Technical Class without having the use LW2. Is the Technical Class in this Mod later in the game? Please help LOL

This is my favorite group of classes in the game. It feels like this is what they should have been from the beginning. If this mod cannot be fixed to work with WoTC I don't think I'll ever install WoTC.

Unless someone takes over ... that person would be my hero ... for mods like these I'm willing to donate...

Nope, he said that SMG and Laser Pack are the only ones he would do, as the others are to complicated. *sigh* I fear, Hyomoto is right. Too bad.

Pavonis has said they have nothing to announce and have not investigated how much work updating these standalone mods would take. I think it's fair to consider these WotC-dead for the forseeable future.

Can you please consider making WOTC version of this? It is excruciating to play the orginal dull classes.
