I've tried this level several times and all the cube does is flip upward on the first panel and land in front of the faith plate, never hitting it.

Most likely. I think rebuilding the map may have optimised the number of antlines.

I played one several months ago but I can't download it anymore. I click on subscribe but it won't show up in the game. Now is my game glitched or is everyone having this issue?

you need to fine tune this machine. it took me three attempts to actually get to the end. side tip, it's too busy, makes it hard to know what you want us to focus on.

Ok, so this time I activated the button while staring at a wall. This time the final cube stayed on the button properly. Final door still won't open. But I believe that the chamber timing gets screwed because of the game's graphic engine. Read my comment in 2.0.

Still I think you could make an adjustment for both the final cube and fix that door to compensate for any graphic timing issue.

Good concept, but machine has issues. Final cube does not stay on button: continuous on and off. Final door does not open.

Everything worked except the exit door. The cube moving on and off the button was too fast so couldnt' go through the door.

Found a bug where the player has to open the console and turn on the cheat 'Noclip' to be able to get to the exit elevator. There is also a bug where if the player stands and watches the first part of the machine, that the exit cube will fall off of the button, killing the player. The first bug happens all the time, while the second has a 1/100-ish chance. Love the entire concept though! Beautiful machine, just a few bugs to work out...

It errored every time I tried it.. I kept thinking.. Next one is a charm. I'll keep trying periodically. Everytime it's the same error. Right at the beginning.. The cube simply slides off and misses the catapult - nothing happens. But what a great concept!

Interesting to look at, but no puzzling or motoric skill involved :/

First two attempts, the first cube failed to land on the Faith plate and the final door before the lift doesn't want to open. Issue caused by the last patch perhaps?

The second to final cube landed outside the excursion funnel, and the exit door refused to open. I had to use noclip to get to the elevator, and I had to go a very long distance because it turned out that there are acutally wotld portals between the elevators and the test chamber, so I had to leave the map to finish the level.

Still no go. I looked in the folder where it would download, and there's only a thumbnail, nothing to delete. FWIW, I did a file verify, pulled in a new file or two, and it still doesn't work. A big update to Portal 2 occurred on May 21, could that have something to do with it? Perhaps if you perform a rebuild and repost?

t worked for me the first time, but it failed the three times after that. Sometimes right at the very first step, the cube sliding down the angle panel would miss the faith plate, and the other time, a cube missed a faith plate later on after going through two gels (it just fell into the goo instead).

I know it's pretty tricky to get a map like this to work reliably, since I did one myself (http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=72787467 ). I had to do a couple of robustness updates myself.

@Krayzi hmm, I'll look into that. Thanks for telling me where it went wrong rather than just stating it didn't work at all. Its hard to get this to work for everyone since everyone's system is slightly different in some way. A consistant frame rate is probably the most important thing to have, so lowering your graphics settings might help.

Future maps will have a focus on reliablity.

Unfortunately, I couldn't get it to work once in 10 restarts, so I gave up. Most of the time, the Weighted Companion Cube at the start bounces off the ceiling and lands behind the ramp, and that's the end of it. A couple times I got lucky and got to the part where the two reflective cubes are juggled, but the 3rd cube never makes it across, so that's the end of it. A great concept; unfortunate that there's too much randomness in the engine to allow this to work reliably (or at all, in my case).
