Could you do something similar for a retractable landing gear? The existing retractable landing gear mod is purely cosmetic and doesn't resize the collision mesh when retracted, defeating the point. I notice this mod _does_ resize the collision mesh depending on whether it's extended or retracted, making it ideal. My reasoning is for use on a large rover to anchor itself so that wind turbines can work, without risking the wrath of Clang by involving pistons (not to mention the massive space cost of a piston-based setup); hit park, the wheels go into parking mode, the gear extends and locks; hit park again, the gear unlocks and retracts, wheels are released.

Still the coolest mod block or elevator concept on the workshop. They should combine this with the airlock mod.

So sad to see this go to waste.

That's what kind of bugs me about the comments sections in a lot of mods. I go there to see if there is a fix to some issues, and half of the posts are people demanding updates with a haughty attitude. Like, shit, these modders make this as a labor of love, and sometimes they just don't have the time or drive to update them any more. I don't know why people feel so entitled.

is the game crash issue ever going to be fixed? This should be a mandatory mod for small ship building but most people have forgotten about it.

Is this mod still planed to be updated by author or no?

well this is one way to crash a server on purpose when you need to roll back but dont have access to reboot server at the time... xD

Yep. Unfortunately, same issue. Crashes on small grid.

I also have had crashes on placement of the the small grid elevator. Happened twice in succession.

On the plus side, I was loving the mod when it worked.

Just tried to use the elevator (on a large grid) for the first time since subbing, and unfortunately there's an odd issue of there seeming to be a second instance of the hatch doors, which don't function..

think the last update harshed your mod

is there any hope with updating this mod to either remove the broken doors or fix them? The elevator is awesome and I really don't want to disable this mod.

doors are broken, they can be place in creative just fine, but to build or tear them down, game or server crashes hope it gets updated.

I has been a few painful days finding this bug... 60 mods might be a bit much... ^-^

Wolf, that may not be lag, just how the game handles gravity. In my experience, it happens on all downward elevators.

But yes, an update to his mod would be much appreciated.

yup me to and textures are not showing up plus very lagy when going down fine when going up all your mods textures are not showing up for me anymore plz fix your mods are the nest in my oppinion x3

Could you make a cargo verson of this. What I imagine is having a fighter being pushed up to a flight deck kind of thing and taking off.
